      Actually lots of celebrities live in Hoboken. A Rod just bought a place, Rod Stewart, Eli Manning, Artureo Gotti, Gov. John Corzine. PLus Eve is always around, Danny Aiello.

      Don't knock unless you have lived there.

      The governor and Eli Manning live in the building she is staying in. I moved in 8 weeks ago from NYC into the building. They just finished shooting a scene from the new John Travolta/Robin Williams movie there too.

      Really amazing place–I was once a hater too, but a has much of what you love of NYC without much of the cost and hassle

      Yes I've seen her in hoboken. I was running with my husband when we turned the corner and literally ran into her. She was with her two dogs and my husband did everything in his power not to run on top of the dogs…. She didn't look to hot with the brown hair….

      Mischa Barton and Bruce Willis are now filming a movie named The Sophomore at my high school, Bayonne High, this whole summer. A couple of friends and I saw Mischa, however she didn't even give us a simple smile when we waved at her. Other actresses around her were very nice, but we wanted Mischa! Bruce Willis, on the other hand, was extremely nice and although he was rather thin in comparison to his Die Hard bod, he came over and said hi.

      Hoboken is pretty much for the people who can't handle the city but still want to say they "live in NYC". The bars there are pretty terrible as well.

      If Hoboken is so great because it's so close to NYC….then why not just live in NYC?

      You just made my argument for me. Most people in Hoboken like to live under the illusion that they are actually NYC'ers, however, most people living the city know they're not. It's College Part II if you really take a look at the scene there.

      If you seriously think Hoboken is "awesome" you need to get out more and/or maybe wait until you are over 22 to appreciate some of the nicer things in life.

      I go to Stevens Institute of Tech in Hoboken NJ. And it's pretty cool university..Great view of the city, pretty much the best view Hoboken has to offer and they are from the dorms and campus.
      If Mischa is in town, It's cool, she doesn't bother me.

      And those who say we are NY'er wannabe's, chill. We love the city and most people live in Hoboken to have easy access to the city through the Path for work and what not. NYC is super expensive…even though Hoboken is a relatively expensive place to live,it's worth it. It's much less expensive if you compare apartments of equal likeness. Unlike the city, where the same price of a place here would buy you a parking space over there. Not everyone is made of money.

      I just moved to Orange County, Ca from Hoboken. Lived in Manhattan for 17 years previous to that. The three coolest people ever were: Nina Simone, Elvis and FRANK SINATRA. If Hoboken was good enough for Frank (born and raised) then by God, it is good enough for me. Still own my pad there.

      I've lived in Manhattan…and I've lived in Hoboken. Hoboken isn't any less expensive than Manhattan….it's the same….but you get a lot more for your money. My apartment in Manhattan was small, old, walk up, blah blah….but in Hoboken….it's new and HUGE! Anyway..who cares if people live in Hoboken and say they live in NYC?? Who's it hurting? So, why does it even matter? So, if you think your special b/c you live in Manhattan…then keep thinking you are special! You are probably paying $2K a month for a shitty ass apartment. Open up your mind a little…PLEASE!

      I've lived in Hoboken for 6 years. I wok in Rockefeller Center and can get door to door in 25 minutes, it's great. Plus I can have my car here! Being a lifelong NJ resident it's certainly easier than living here than in NYC. Mischa lives in downtown Hoboken. It was on Hoboken411.com. Don't hate the town unless you've been here, it's really a good place to live.
