Britney Spears bodyguard, Cesar Julio Camera, has been officially charged with battery.
The altercation happened last month as the mother of two and her "protector" were leaving a Spa at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas and a paparazzo got a little too close for comfort.
Andrew Deetz, the photographer, filed a complaint against Camera after the incident and police came to the scene to question both parties.
Camera was charged with one count of misdemeanor battery. If convicted, he faces up to six months in jail, and or a $1,000 fine.
We hope Britney's paying his legal bills!
