We heard his music on MySpace, bought his album on iTunes and we can't stop listening to it!

Yeah I heard Rufus Wainwright in his music immediately! He's really good… But oh so similar.
I have been listening to Eric Hutchinson for a while now and I am SOOOOOO happy he is getting recognition!!!!! He is amazing and I have turned a lot of friends onto him, but we have all been disappointed that his music is semi-difficult to find sometimes. Totally excited that you can get his music on I-Tunes now. Thanks Perez for getting his name out there and Im stoked that Eric is staying independent!!! Staying true to his sounds! And to the haters? Not everyone likes everything. Don't put it down, no one is forcing you to listen to it!!! This so wasn't a paid advertisment, this is just good taste!!!
Jason Mraz collides with James Morrisons songs! That's Eric. Good performance but I don't think I can handle the high timbre of his voice for more than one tune! I'll pass…..

i think it is so funny to read all of the vitriol from some of the morons on this comments page. And whether or not you like him, I would bet anyone that he is going to be huge. His songs have a HOOK, and whatever else you need to have a hit song is just secondary. He certainly doesnt sound like "everyone else" to me. I also love how some people really believe you cant be easily accesible or cheerful to have artistic merit. Get with it, since you will be hearing him on the radio soon enough whether you like it or not, methinks.

Who cares if you like him or not. He's a struggling artist who deserves the attention €,if you want to support him show up to his concerts and buy his album. If you don't, move on and waste your time on better things!!

I hear what you're saying, Perez, but his stuff…as with most solo artist albums…grates on me after the first song. I loved John Mayer's first song and like the teenage idiot I was, bought the album…yawn. I love Mraz, and this guy is JUST like Mraz…I don't need another Mraz. As for Jack Johnson…He's the real deal. Hutch is okay, but I won't be putting forth my hard earned cash to buy his entertainment offering.

If you don't like this guy at first listen, its because you don't have an ear for real talent and music ability. If you do like what you hear on his new album, do yourself a HUGE favor and go buy …Before I Sold Out, its a live album and its AMAZING. He is one the best performers live and very witty. See him live to get the real deal, then form your opinion.

ive been listening to eric for a couple years now and he is FABOLOUS!!! i have seen him live 2 times and believe he is is even better in person. I have met him 2 times as well and he is just as nice and you would imagine!! Nice going Perez he WILL be famous!!
