Quote Of The Day

mx0081907.jpg

"We're not done [having kids]. I had one kid, then two kids, then three kids [in] two and a half years or so. Listen, I've always embraced extremes, so it doesn't feel odd to me. There's a couple weeks of finding your balance, and then it's in stone."

- Brad Pitt tells the new issue of Details about his ever-expanding family

THEY WILL BE GOOD AT RAISING VERY INDEPENDENT KIDS - THEY WILL HAVE TO BE DUE TO THE EMOTIONAL NEGLECT BROUGHT ON BY KID COLLECTING

THESE POOR CHILDREN WILL NEVER FEEL LOVED 100% BECAUSE THEY ARE BEING RAISED IN A CIRCUS

I've said this a hundred times. I think we would all adopt or have more biological children of our own if we had a nanny for each one and someone to take care of the home, bills, etc. That's why Brad can be a peace with his choice…..he has money!

As long as they can pay for them and take care of them I'm all for it. I just get so annoyed when I hear of these Hollywood families who hire a nanny for EACH child. Please, they're not puppies who need trainers. They need their PARENTS! One at a time, or both, occasional support, fine. But don't run amok with the baby business unless you can really give each child what they need–and I'm not just talking money and material goods.

I DONT KNOW WHY PEOPLE ARE SUCH HATERS, THESE KIDS GET TO SEE THE WORLD AND PLACES MOST OF US WILL NEVER SEE, THAT MAKES FOR WELL ROUNDED INDIVIDUALS. WHO CARES ABOUT 12 YEARS OF SCHOOL, THESE 2 ARE VERY HANDS ON AND ARE ALWAYS DOING EDUCATIONAL THINGS WITH THE KIDS. GET OVER IT. I'm worried about Shiloh. I know there are kids that a fair skinned but damn…she has no color at all to her. Kids normally have rosey cheeks. She looks like she hasnt see daylight in months. She also never has any kind of emotion. She looks in a daze all the time. I guess momma didn't get enough vitamins or food while pregnant. Poor kids.

      45

I hate this holier than thou act. They come that by having all these kids, they're better than everyone. A lot of people struggle just having one or two. I mean, they can do whatever they want but they come off like they think everyone else is below them for not living the same life. They should at least wait until more of them start walking, two people physically can't handle any more toddlers (you see those family outing pics?) Plus, they need to stop moving around, those kids are like army brats, it's nice that they spend time with the parents, but they won't have any friends or center.
Oh, and my mom always said that you're doing something right if you still want more kids, you should never think "ok, this is enough".

You know I just realized that all the media was giving britney crap for moving her kids from her mansion to a hotel and back again. All the experts came out and said that the kids need stability and she shouldnt move them around. So, whats different about the Pitts? Maddox and Pax are old enough to go to school. The go to school in whatever country they happen to be in. Its never the same. I'm all for showing the kids the world and making them aware of whats going on but there is a limit to it all also. Don't the Pitt kids need stability? I guess you donate money and act saintly then all is over looked.

    49. Kat says – reply to this

      49

I want to see these more of these kids being happy and excited. Being dragged across multiple continents week after week cannot possibly be conducive to healthy child development. Little Shiloh, in particular, never looks rested, nor energetic and happy.

Doesn't he mean he's not done COLLECTING kids? Do they not have a "full set" yet? Are they planning on reselling at a higher value? How many times will these poor kids be dragged from country to country? How many schools will they have to attend throughout their lives? They need a stable home where they can go to school and make friends; not be dragged all over the place for photo ops. These kids are going to need serious help when they get older.

Rearing children is one of the most difficult jobs on earth ; it takes a life time of "finding your balance" with each individual child. The responsibility is with one for the rest of their lives making it more of an ocean with waves than "in stone". Good intentions do count for a lot,so my own news boy hat does go off for both of them.

      58

Angie is addicted to adopting. She will want a sistah for Zee next, then she'll need a sibling to match fair Shiloh, then who knows what kids will be the next victims. Sure they will have a better life than wherever they came from, but what about the individual attention factor? Angie already said they struggle to spend enough time with them. Brad just seems to go along with whatever life plans Angie has for them. He wouldn't back out now and make himself look like a fool so he suffers in silence, puts on a weary smile and claims "Yeah, we're ready (for a fifth child)." Plus he's older than Angie and he doesn't have the energy to keep up with the kids. I just hope Angie doesn't give massive doses of radiation to her next fetus by flying all over the world constantly as she did with Shiloh. Shiloh does look a little slow and not engaging, and she is 15 months old already.

WHOOooooo —-WHO…………….how can they possibly give that many children the love and attention they deserve. I mean right now it's alright….but when they add more & more children to their brood won't there come a time when they become rather neglected. And why not float some of that good fortune over to American children who need a home, why look outside the US to adopt when we have so many children right here that need a home. It has become a BIG Hollywood fad to adopt a foreign child. Now all the stars want one…..

I'm not a big "Brangelina " Fan and I'm happy that they've adopted these kids and try and give them a better life but another child? They have 4 kids under the age of 6, i'm sure intentionally they wouldn't try and make one child feel left out but with that many kids and at that age I think it's bound to happen. If they want another child, wait a couple of years, in a span on 2 1/2 years Maddox went from only child to oldest of four. Pax needs more time to ajust and not have a brand new baby come into the family so soon! Between the charity work, their movies and 4 kids, it's already hectic enough, don't add another child into it!

when kids are that young they don't can't grasp an appreciation for all the places they may visit. when they are that small they need stability. they should choose a spot and raise their kids and during winter and summer breaks travel to other places. these kids need to be able to interact with kids outside of their family so they can develop healthy relationships in the future. im not ragging on these two, in fact i have a great respect for people who are willing to give kids regardless of where they come from a good loving home. when i have kids of my own i hope to adopt 1 or 2 kids myself. who cares if they adopt from america? its another child that has someone to love and give them a good life.

All right guys…. LISTEN TO SOMEONE. People aren't saying it because they're jealous and gossipy and have nothing better to do. Some people are actually concerned about the welfare of the children. I have a son and I could never imagine taking him to one country on Wednesday and a completely different country on Thursday…especially when he's at the age to enter school. Children need stabililty. The need attention from their parents. They need to know that you love them. And Shiloh? Every picture I take of my son, he is laughing. I have never seen the girl smile in a photograph.

Before you go adopting or conceiving more children, please devote attention to the children you have. And Brad? You have four kids, not three. And Angie? Please eat something. You don't look like you have the strength to take care of your four children.

Please, for the love of God, LISTEN TO SOMEBODY. DON'T ADOPT ANYMORE CHILDREN UNTIL YOU CAN TAKE CARE OF THE CHILDREN YOU HAVE.

Children need stability in order to mature into healthy adults.

They are in a new country every day, their lives revolve around plane trips, and they have people watching them at every turn. Do these kids have friends? Shouldn't Maddox be in SCHOOL?

      77

I don't care if they're rich…that doesn't qualify you as being a good parent. Dragging these kids around all over the place is CHILD ABUSE. I am disgusted. If these people really cared, they would help facilitate international adoption and help place children with numerous families. They are not helping. Children are not objects to be collected because you like the color or country of origin.

      78

There's a reason why it takes 9 months to make a baby and why women who beastfeed are less fertile: nature knows that you need a certain amount of time between each offsprings to get adjusted before having another one. What Brad and Angie are doing is to bypass nature, actually. They are not allowing themselves to let a "normal" rythm to take place in their family unit and I guess that it could eventually back fire on them. Besides, I've always been very "suspicious" of people who want to do too much, too soon. I seems like a way to reassure oneself about the stability of their relationship and/or to distract the attention from the real issues that they don't want to deal with. Oh well… For all we know, they might all be actually very happy… But then, maybe not… We'll probably know for sure when his or her tell all book comes out in a few years…

wow, you are all such slags, ragging on Brangelina for adopting unloved, thrown-away kids. leave 'em alone - they seem to be doing just fine without your help. many of you must be young and stupid for saying that their kids are going to grow-up total messes for not having the boring, staid lives of your suburban rugrats. years ago, families routinely had boatloads of children and were dirt poor to boot. today, religious zealots homeschool their own myopic children so as not to "spoil" them by rubbing up against the rest of us. go bitch them out about their mongrol spawn. Brad sounds thoroughly grounded even if Angie isn't.

and for god's sake quit calling her a homewrecker. it's beyond evident that Brad wasn't getting what he needed or wanted outta butt-fugly Maniston - namely kids. my hat's off to Brangelina for at least trying to make a difference by adopting - what are YOU doing to make life better for future generations??

Anyone notice how you never saw pictures of Angelina holding Shiloh before but lately she is always holding her.

I have no respect for him. He sounds like some kind of COLLECTOR there. When you first start to collect something(toy, stamps, etc), you just want A LOT, FAST, so you can have the minimum amount of 'item' you can proudly call a 'collection'. (After you reach that point, you kinda slow down)

Embracing extremes? I don't think parenting is some extreme sports or a field that he needs to 'conquere'. Children are not something you can dare or play with the extremeness unless you have fallen into that situation with no choice of your own(ex. having quadruplet) because the responsibility we are talking about is THAT huge.

A couple of weeks and it's in stone? Maybe FOR HIM! He sounds so immature and doesn't seem to have realized that children are not some puppies you can just give food, walk, pat on the head and make happy. Gosh, I knew actors were so full of themselves, but that guy really makes me sick. The whole thing is a joke to him, probably because he has the luxury to hire a dozen of nanny and run away from it whenever he wants to.

Will Angelina go for this? She seems a bit like a Mia Farrow. I remember saying no more cats, one is enough. Then a couple of kitties came my way. I didn't want to seperate them either. Life is long Brad. There might be more….

I must say that its really nice to see some celebrities actually spending time with their children. Too many just shove them off to the nanny. For example: Madonna. She adopted that little boy and the only person he’s ever photographed with is a nanny! Why adopt a child when you don’t have the time to spend with him?!

      _____________________________________________________________

Since last october we have seen David 9 times: 3 times in an aereoport with Madonna and 1 time with Madonna and Guy, a time in Malawi with Madonna, a time with Guy, a time on the set with madonna, Rocco and a Nanny, a time out of the Kabbala centre with all the family and 2 times with a nanny (going with the skatebord, with Madonna watching and a time at the zoo only with a nanny).
So how the hell can you say David is always with nannies if we never see him and since a few months we can't see anybody of this family except sometimes Madonna when she goes to the gym.
Angelina always put her childrens in front of cameras It's a shame!

Oh gosh, it's like buying a new car for these people, isn't it? Then they can march around with them from one photo-op to another, all while it's really the nannies who take care of them when the cameras ain't rolling… Yeah, sure it's "fun" to have so many kids, when you got a dozen nannies taking care of them instead of you! Geez… I'm so sick of brangelina and their "collection" of babies. Is south america next? or maybe an indian baby?

"Your birth order can affect the state of your brain later in life. If you were born after three siblings, you are at greater risk for developing Alzheimer's disease. Why? Researchers speculate that younger kids who have to constantly comptete for parental attention with older siblings may find that to be very stressful." This passage is found in "The Better Brain Book" by David Perlmutter, M. D. .

It is easy to have 5 kids when you send them away all day (not needing to) and have a squad of nannies.
