Yeah-I feel very confident that I have addressed your "points" such as they are. You however will always remain an ignorant bigot. If you want to make the world a better place please start by killing yourself and make a whole lot of people happy! See how "intelligent" your words sound? I would pray for you but I do not want to waste any more of God's time or mine on a low life like you.

To #213 I'm not a bigot I don't care if people are gay I just don't understand (gladly) why someone would cut off their dicks I mean I know a lot of gay people and they are some of the most fickle people I know, what happens when they change their minds on that one?? And do you honestly think transgendered people are a wonder of GOD?? Whoah there horsefly, read your bible a few more times maybe you'll get it?!?! BIG MAYBE but we can all have hope for your ignorant mind. Reply if their is anything left floating around in there, but I'm sure all you would be able to do is curse me at this point. Jesus hung out with the gays and prostitutes but he never EVER once said hey this is cool and okay he was trying to SAVE them, do you get it??

    Re: Bea Heade

Actually, you never addressed any of my points. All you did was do the exact thing that you're condemning these other people for.

I posed a serious argument, and you did nothing but call me names.

If you truly believe in God, then you would know that he cares about every person, regardless if their opinions differ from yours.

Why are you trying to make everyone think the way you think they should?

I'm not trying to force you to believe anything that I do, but you're hellbent on forcing me to conform to your beliefs.

You don't even know me, but you consider me a lowlife, simple because my opinions are different from yours. Talk about being a bigot.

Personally, I would love to continue this conversation (outside of here, considering this will be deleted after awhile) with you, because I'd like to understand why you feel the way you do, but I fear that your pursuit is much more primitive. I think you want to make people feel badly, so you attack them.

I'm proud of her. It takes a lot of courage to be who you are - especially to be transgendered in front of the public eye. I can't believe such hatred and ignorance still exists in the world today.

Imagine for a moment, you wake up tomorrow and through a miracle, you're the opposite gender. Not only that, you have to live in this body for the rest of your life. Everything's different, you're scared to look at yourself in the mirror, your body is doing things, weird and scary things that you don't want it to do. That's how a transgendered person feels everyday.

Gender is a social construction - we made it up. To change one's gender is just like any other plastic surgery - it makes Lana feel better, like this is the way her body is supposed to be. Is it any different from boob jobs, or lipo or any of those other surgeries that you ignorant fucks regard as normal everyday? No. It isn't.

Trannies rule, but please don't chop off your dicks, you'll regret it.

    Chicks w/ dicks = fun
Chicks w/ dicks that are split in half and sewed up into their legs = you won't like it

All I can say to Jodi is YOU should be the re-reading the bible. You seemed to have missed a ton of stuff.

now i know what they meant by keanu got the job by sleeping with the director. no hard feeling honey. i only like to solve riddles. it was one of the riddles given out by tom. :)

  9. paul says – reply to this

"Tranny" and "Role model" don't go together. It's such an extreme level of delusional lack of confidence. We should be encouraging people to accept and love who they are, not to use science to change it.

  10. paul says – reply to this

Some of you guys don't get it.

Being openly gay is accepting who you are and loving who you are.

Being a tranny is using science to change your body into what you WISH you were.

It's pretty insulting to the gay community to lump trannies into their group.

Disgusting! As a gay man myself, I am completely repulsed by Transgenders. I can't stand being categorized with them.

    Re: Miss Ali
Miss Ali, I think you're being misled. I'll quote you. "Gender is a social construction - we made it up."
That's incorrect. Gender is not a social construct whatsoever. Men are born with an X and a Y chromosome, whereas women have two X chromosomes. One X will become inactivated (Barr body), but the men rely on both chromosomes, because the X is a necessity. Gencer is determined by your chromosomes, as is the rest of your genetic makeup. Women will have testosterone, but not as much as men. Men will have estrogen and progesterone, but not as much as women. These hormones play HUGE parts in our development, including the brain. You can say that women only act the way they do because they were forced to play with dolls, or whatever, but it's not true. Women have an innate urge to nurture. It's in the genes. Playing with dolls is a side effect, not uncommon, but common enough.

"Imagine for a moment, you wake up tomorrow and through a miracle, you’re the opposite gender. Not only that, you have to live in this body for the rest of your life. Everything’s different, you’re scared to look at yourself in the mirror, your body is doing things, weird and scary things that you don’t want it to do. That’s how a transgendered person feels everyday."

Uh, just because someone feels it, doesn't mean it's right. A serial murderer feels a very similar way, but we don't encourage it. Sexual serial killers have associated sex with killing and sometimes can only climax when they kill. Poor guy. He wakes up everyday alone. We should be proud of him for doing something about it, right? I have a feeling you believe in evolution as well.

  15. Lady of the Lake says – reply to this

Yeah-WOW! You REALLY have some issues here! The way you go on & on to justify your view and denigrate others is VERY telling. The lady doth protests to much methinks!

  16. Nat says – reply to this

Yikes… that's one ugly woman… but hey, if it makes him/her feel complete… then why not? Congrats.

  17. Yeah says – reply to this

    Re: Lady of the Lake
No denigration involved, rather attempting to get people to actually think as opposed to just regurgitating what they've been told. Maybe people should look at the inconsistencies in the stories portrayed instead of just accepting everything as fact.

As far as protesting too much, is that an implication that you feel I'm a prime candidate for sex change or what, specifically?

I've noticed that no one addresses any issues I make, but rather they attack me personally. I think THAT'S interesting.

  18. Lady of the Lake says – reply to this

My goodness, you just CAN'T let it go can you? You feel the absolute need to get the last word to justify your position. As a nurse who has worked with transgendered people over the years I DO know why my position is knowledgeable. Yours on the other hand seems to have some very deep rooted psychological issues. Instead of trying to knock down the REAL reasons for the personal need to change one's gender assignment, I suggest you do some self analyzing as to WHY this is so troublesome to YOU! Yet I expect another response from you because you HAVE to reply.

Hey…reading some of these comments has yet again made me realize how closed minded people still are…even homosexuals or people who support the gay community. Its clear that there is still hardcore transphobia in America and around the world. First of all I'd like to say it is great that she is finding herself and is being true to herself. Secondly, Being a woman is far different from being a female. "WOMAN" depicts a social contruct to which all of us have become accustomed to. Female explains the biological traits of a certian species, in this case and human being….HUMAN BEING! this person is a human being try treating her with some respect, respect for what someone as a human must go through in our culture if they feel they were born into the wrong body. Have some empathy people. She is simply just trying to be happy and be herself, let her alone. Open up your minds and your hearts and give some positive energy back to the world around you. We are all here together right now. Lets make NOW a pleasure to be in. Lets treat eachother with some dignity and respect for our individuality and love the differences that make each and every one of us unique in a way that can not be taken away from us. Love not war, on all levels. Love

Today, in the 21st century, in the modern civilized world (which at least I live in) we regard two types of gender: biological and social. These does not necessary have to be the same!! Get it?!!
