She looked pathetic… stiff, frightened, and unsure of herself. Maybe with good reason given all the press about her. She is too heavy to have worn that outfit (she did NOT look even close to fierce which is what the song and routine called for). She seemed more concerned about the audience, than giving 100% to the routine and losing herself in it. That is what a comeback calls for. Finally, she was exploited for ratings (all the hype worked, though at her expense).

Perez, I was so disappointed. She is still very beautiful, but she looked as if she didn't know the routine at all. I want to see her dance, not just move around and shake her ass. Where is our girl? I afraid she's passed the point of no return.

I was disapointed. She barley moved, I wouldn't even call it dance. You can tell she wasn't singing. Her body looked ok, not like she was. Its ok, she had 2 babies. It's normal. Time to be a mom and not a pop star. I was hoping for more, but I do not think her come back is NOW.

She wasnt THAT bad…She just did mediocre…The VMAs in general have been crap. They are a major dissapointment. Britney looked very uncomfortable, but I felt bad for her because she hasnt done this in almost 4 years…Everyone was expecting her to fall on her face and she just didn't perform. I pray that she will make it up to everyone in a better performance else. The VMAs were not the place to make a debut…GOOD LUCK BRITNEY !

She was the worst thing I've ever seen on television. I can't believe MTV approved her performance rehearsal. I really think MTV thought it would be funny, but it was so sad. Her weave was bad, her stomach was bloated, she didn't know the words to her own song, and she was dancing like she just learned the routine 20 mins before the show.

I know she's been out of the "spotlight" (unless you count the tabloids, for quite a while, but think of all the times Madonna reinvented herself and gave people something to talk about. Even if the reaction was not positive, people rarely could say that Madonna under performed. I feel pretty disappointed with Britney's "comback." It's hard because I want to be on her side so badly. I really hope that she pulls things together and starts acting with a bit more class before her album drops in November. (Do we think that will be pushed back?)

Britney Spears & Demi Lovato's First X Factor Critique! Listen Here!

Girls are on fire!!!

We won't get to see how the ladies did until the fall, but today in Austin, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato took their seats as the new judges on The X Factor. Someone had the foresight of smuggling in a recording device to the Texas auditions and we've got the audio from the ladies' first critique!

And you know what? They sound like old pros!

Check out the video (above) to hear Brit Brit and Darling Demi give their thoughts on the first contestant of season two!

They both sound so GOOD! Strong and confident; it doesn't sound like either of them were nervous at all!
