That performance was horrible and the VMA's on the whole was unorganized and chaotic. Just because you spew out a number of hits does not make you capable of understanding how to run a T.V. program, Timberland. Everyone was either drunk or high and too busy having a good time in Vegas to remember that the whole process was being taped live for everyone to see.

I am behind PS #3. So true! Alicia Keys singing was one of the few examples of actual "music" being performed at the VMAs. The rest was just noise. I really can't even defend this. I am a devoted britney fan and I have run out of excuses. Aside from the performance flaws ( appearing to be under the influence, greasy stringy, badly colored hair, body not toned enough to wear what she did, the awful lip singing, just going through the dance movements with hardly any effort into it… ) aside from all that, I am truly truly disapointed. Britney had so much support from the other celebs, and mtv gave her an incredible oppurtunity. I have never seen a star being given so many chances, by so many people. What celeb, can do the things she has done, and still have people rooting for them and holding out for a comeback? I have never seen fans that are so loyal and willing to forgive and willing to sweep the past under the rug with just one great performance, and she can't deliever it. how long do her fans have to hold out? does she care? Heck, even perez gave her the benefit of the doubt and was rooting for her. Does britney want to be a star? is she willing to work hard? Doesn't look like it.
