Most of you may be saying, "well, it was her choice," and I'd bet that too. How many of us at as young girls fantasized about being the beautiful princess? But have you really looked into the lives of these "beautiful princesses?" It doesn't seem too glamourous to me: Britney's image, her performances, her publicity events, her movies, her songs — everything ever decided for her career, I'd bet, was decided by everyone around her BUT her. Maybe her fame obsessed parents? Perhaps. But definitely the label she signed with at such a young age has driven those choices! I'd guess she's surrounded by a conglomerate of money-hungry people pushing her to do whatever will put more money into their pockets, people who are unaware or disinterested in her own personal struggles.

Yes, the show was a big disappointment…..I think she has been under lots of pressure and her performance showed she lost her self esteem and confidence. With all the negative comments and exposure she has been dealing with the last year…small wonder she was as bad as she was. Take a step back and wonder how is must feel to be under the microscope 24/7 and commented on everything you do…. Yes, she has made really bad choices but she at least followed through on a commitment and the only way now is up. If all the public does is want her to fail there isn't much incentive to do well…I don't care who you are if you feel people just want you to fail and not support you …that is what the outcome is gonna be…..Failure….So, if she has the nerve to do anything else…she should be better prepared and hopefully the public with give her the much needed support she needs.

Her performance could have been much much worse. She could have been a total douche like Kanye West. She could have been started a stupid fight like Kid Rock and Tommy Lee. She could have been drunk and high like Jamie Foxx. But no she didn't meet the usual Britney standards but I am glad that she was able to go out there and start the beginning of what will be a great comeback.

I feel very bad for Britney. Perez was right, but you have to think about what this poor girl is going through. She is obviously in post partum depression and emotional distress and not getting the help she needs.
