Tommy Lee spoke with The Insider about his big VMA brawl with fellow Pam Anderson ex Kid Rock.
"I was minding myself and then he goes and punches me on the cheek," claims Tommy. "I was trying to be the bigger man, but he was acting childish."
Lee claims that Rock came and punched him for no good reason. "[I] was ready to go in the alley and kick his ass. I was about to put Kid in the emergency room when security grabbed me," says Tommy. "They said, 'If you move, we will break your arms.'"
What motivated Kid's actions? "This is what people do when they have shitty albums and their careers are going down the drain," he joked.
Rock was cited by Las Vegas police for misdemeanor battery.

Tommy Lee is WORLDS more talented than Kid Rock, he's a joke.
I mean hell, I'm biased cause I may be the biggest T. Lee fan around, but just lay the facts on the table & it's obvious. "Motley Crue" has grossed waaaay more in album sales & hits than Kid EVER could wish to. It's just a fact, whether you like Tommy or not, it's the truth. Plus, as a drummer myself I can tell you that that man has gold fuckin' hands. He can rip like hell. Maybe you've never seen him play live, but he is the epitome of a rockstar. Tommy isn't THE BEST rock rummer, but he's definately up there with some fo the best. Who cares if he boozes it up & sleeps with gross women…Kid does too.
Plus, Tommy may be scrawny, but he'd fucking kill Kid in a fight. He's way more raw than Kid could ever be. And he's a scrappy little sexy bitch! Who gives a rats ass if he's "dirty" or "obnoxious", he's better than Kid so in my mind he has a fuckin right to be. And even more, Kid's just pissed cause he got Tommy's sloppy seconds & then she ran back to Tommy for more!

See what is so incredibley amazing about Kid ROck is people look at his name "Kid Rock" and have heard maybe "Cowboy" and some other hits and assume he is a straight "rcoker." Kid Rock is music.. PERIOD! Have you EVER seen HIM live??!! Whether its him a lone or with a guitar or his whole band his music, lyrics, and vibe is moving. Hey I grew uop in the 80s and I listened to Motley Crew, Guns N Roses and all that.. but lets face it.. they knew only one type of music. And just to add Mr Ritchie does this on his own and does no need the help of the rest of his band to make music, correct me if I am wrong but Tommy Lee was not the creative talent behind Crue's music he was an incredibly talented drummer. Mr. Ritchie is a man of many musical talents including a great DJ/Scratcher!! That said Tommy's a douche, I think he is the reason that Kid and Pammy broke up, she will never be done with him and Kid may need some anger management classes. I am guessing he is still a little bitter over the 1 minute marriage
