The VMAs sucked so hard this year that many of the nominees didn't even show up!

Fergie took home the Moon Man for Best Female Artist but she wasn't there to collect her award. Instead, she was in Israel performing with the Black Eyed Peas.

On Sunday night, the Big Girl was spotted getting her groove on at Jerusalem nightclub Blanko.

Congrats Fergie - not on winning a VMA, but congrats on being smart enough to skip the shiteous show!

      The VMA's have sucked for the last 15 years. Ever since they drop all the real rock bands and went with the gangsta rap and boy bands. Now we have these pseudo punk bands that claim that they invented the genre when they sound like a water down version of the Ramones. Please. I still remember when they had The Black Crows and other REAL ROCK BANDS.

      Good on you Ferg for glamming it up in another hemisphere so far away that you cant be touched by the stench of the so called VMA's.

      Who set it up anyways? What idiot thought it would be cool to put 12 different parties in different places and let us "peek" in at times?

      Newsflash…previous versions of the show were better..stick to the game plan of let the performers perform on a "real main stage" and then send everyone home. How hard is that?

      fallout boy with gym class heroes
      kanye west and 50 cent each doing 1 song
      chris brown solo and rihanna solo
      then kanye west feat. chris from coldplay
      carrie underwood, kelly clarkson, and jennifer hudson
      nicole s. feat. TI & TI does solo song
      soulja boy rapping and people like diddy, kanye, beyonce jamie foxx all come on stage and do the crank dat dance.
      and to end the show… timbaland, keri hlson, 50 cent, justin, and then a surprise dance off with justin and britney.

      I loved the VMA's this year! You got a little bit of everything. And I loved all the collaborations. Brit was def a bust but come on…..who didn't think that was going to happen!?       I was there!!! she and Will i am were dancing to the sounds of israeli dance duo HOVEVEY ZION. they loved the song "rotse banot" and Will shouted something to the singers. they were really fun. i got some pictures too but I was to far from them… come again Fergie!!! we love you!!!

      the only good thing about last night's performance was chris brown and alicia keys. mtv has forgotten what the LITERALLY stand for (MUSIC TELEVISION!?!?!?) i completely agree with what jt kept saying throughout the night: play more MUSIC!!! enough of this reality shit.

      I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the show completely sucked. It was just pathetic. What happened to MTV? It used to be innovative and edgy and now it's just so freaking……blah, boring, dull,etc…… I mean really, whoever was in charge of the show really needs to go back to the drawing board and come up with some new ideas. It's almost like they are trying "too hard". It was just too cluttered. The basic idea of having the groups and bands perform on the stage in front of the main audience is what they need to stick with but make sure that the performers are kick-ass. Duh, it's not rocket science people.

      Are you people insane! This was by far the best VMAs in like 10 years. The Chris Brown medley completely reinvigorated the genre and he has now announced his candidacy for megastar status. Based on that performance he has the potential to become one of the all time greats. The Alicia Keys number was likewise off the chain and one of the more stirring performances from her ever. The suite performance felt fresh and passionate; you could tell the performers were comfortable and totally into it and that ease translated into the songs. I'm not sure what you people expected to see but if you're a fan of live music, that's about as good as it gets….
