Kanye is half-right. MTV thought they'd get great ratings for having Britney on, but little did they know this was going to be one of their worst awards show ever. Britney lacked a whole lot of energy, and she really seemed out of place. Her agent/publicist/manager (or whomever) should have the balls to grab their client and shake sense into them. She needs to remember that she was once hot as hell and somewhere deep (very deep) inside she's still got whatever it is that makes us keep watching and rooting for her. The performance was wack but what were people really expecting from her recent track record of drinking like a sailor and walking around barefoot in public restrooms? And, yes, they helped to end the career of Britney Spears, an entertainer who single-handedly saved MTV in the late 90's, early 00's from complete irrelevance! Shameful, but they knew she would bomb, and that most people wanted to see it…and that people would be talking about the performance and MORE IMPORTANTLY MTV, no matter what happened. The Luxor headlining illusionist was recorded having quite the verbal altercation with Joe Monti, one of his magic producers on Wednesday, during which Angel is heard threatening to knock him out - and now he's had a police report filed against him!

He explains:
