Oops, she did it again - Tori that is.

At a concert in Australia on Tuesday, Tori Amos sang a song about Britney Spears during one of her legendary improvs.

A few weeks ago Miz Amos sang this ditty about Lindsay Lohan, which was quite funny.

The Britney song is a bit more poignant and actually very good.

Let's get some things straight:

Those who are saying that Tori lacks talent don't know the facts. She is classically trained at Peabody Conservatory. She is older, wiser and has been in the biz longer than Britney. She's been performing since the age of 13 or 14. She can do a cover in concert without much practice and doesn't even try to do them like the original artists. She does them in a way that makes the songs her own. She writes her own music. Her lyrics are metaphoric. It takes actually reading the lyrics and looking between the lines to understand. Some of the songs on American Doll Posse have to do with the way women are expected to live, act, think in the world these days. A lot of young female celebs are given a certain standard to follow if they want success. The sad thing is that it's so unrealistic that they do fall under the pressure.

If you really read the lyrics, you'll see that this is Tori's way of giving Britney some support, which many in the media, and those with whom she has her contracts are not giving. She has been standing up for Britney all along. I feel bad for Britney. She sold out to the industry, which has forced her to be something she's not. That's something that almost happened to Tori. She wouldn't go for it though.

This is such a wonderful improv by itself without even having to mention Britney by name….just listen to the song…is is so heartwarming. Tori is absolutely NOT trying to sell albums or further her career by mentioning Britney. She is just doing what she does best…an improv at a concert for her FANS. Tori writes, sings and records all her music on her own. She's been playing the piano since she was two. She's also a mom who has never had a breakdown and still has a relationship with her family. She's also one of the hardest working artists I have ever had the pleasure to meet. She's kind, talented and never had a reason for rehab.

That's where you're wrong… Tori is a talent and a true artist and has released almost more than twice the albums that Britney has… I love Britney and Tori, but Tori is making an observation not seeking publicity or riding off Britney's success… She has enough of her own.

We won't get to see how the ladies did until the fall, but today in Austin, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato took their seats as the new judges on The X Factor. Someone had the foresight of smuggling in a recording device to the Texas auditions and we've got the audio from the ladies' first critique!

And you know what? They sound like old pros!
