The difference between Stewart's appeal and Seacrest's is John's impeccable and above the curve sense of humour. He doesn't take himself seriously. Ryan, not so much. Seacrest will evolve as he ages.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!!! This is fantasic news! Ellen was cringeworthy last year. Yes, there were one or two funny moments but overall she was pretty lame. ( I don't get the KA KA KA thing that she does. LAME.)

Jon is my all time favourite U.S. comedian (I'm Australian). He has impeccable timing, is intelligent and witty and has great passion and enthusiasm for what he does. Nothing ever seems forced or fake with him.

The only reason I'm watch the Emmys this year is to see what kind of shenanigans Colbert and Stewart pull. "Manilowwwwww!"

And, yeah, I'd be up for Colbert hosting too. The problem is, he'd have to do it in character, and his character would never be interested in hosting a whole award show when he has no shot at receiving an award.

(And, yeah, Britney looks fantastic for a mother of two. However, her performance was just lazy. As strategic career moves go, not played well on her part. Costuming could have been better thought out to minimize any flaws until she gets back down to the expected Hollywood size -1. And, honestly, how many people would be saying SO much about her body if she had poured her heart into it?)

Girls are on fire!!!

We won't get to see how the ladies did until the fall, but today in Austin, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato took their seats as the new judges on The X Factor. Someone had the foresight of smuggling in a recording device to the Texas auditions and we've got the audio from the ladies' first critique!

And you know what? They sound like old pros!
