She is not studying, just took a class after her tour, during summer… and not for all the right reasons.

Totally great! She's been wanting to take history classes at an accredited school for years, she's been saying this since at least 2002. Shakira is also a member of MENSA and she falls under the category of 'genius' by their standards, her IQ is 140, which is very high. If she weren't a celebrity, she could easily have gotten into UCLA regardless. She graduated high school at 15 and knows 5 languages, she is smart, beautiful, and talented. She writes her own lyrics and MUSIC (you know, in notation, most mainstream artists DON'T), and plays several instruments. EVERY entertainment fuck up should take pointers from her.

Only a person who has never stepped foot in a university would be impressed by Shakira taking a college class. History classes are some of the easiest classes one can take in college. to all the idiots that don't know about shakira, she hires a private tutor when she tours to teach her about the subjects she is interested in. before going to UCLA she found out what she needed to study in order for them to accept her as a student.

they then interviewed her and made sure she had knoweldge on the subject beforehand and she got in cause she studied privately through her whole tour to get qualified. she even went to egypt and asked a professor to be her guide as research on ancient egypt for the course. she is the real deal a proper student at UCLA she got there by using her intelligence and hard work studying. she is nothing like the other shallow and stupid celebrities out there!!

I think it is really nice!!! Other artists should do the same instead of being partying every night. We all know she doesn't need it but she's doing it just because she likes it, she loves history and that's it, no visa no nothing. We know it's not common to see celebs going to school but it's not like she turned plastic into gold. She has been studying with a tutor during her tour and if she chose UCLA it was because the best teacher in that subject is there, that's all.
