I happened to catch this yesterday… first time I had watched since Rosie left. What's missing from that clip is the part before that when she was talking about how she doesn't believe in evolution. I don't think she's stupid, I think when Whoopie asked her if the world was flat, she knew where Whoopie was going to lead her, so she answered the way she did because if she had said she believed the world was round, that would mean she believed in something scientific, which would go against her disbelief in evolution. So, I don't think she answered out of stupidity, I think she answered that question out of stubbornness. I still think she, and anyone who doesn't believe in evolution, is bat shit crazy… but not stupid. She answered "I don't know" for a reason. That's what I think… but there's always the possibility that she's just dumn as a bag of rocks!

I do not believe in evolution-and the Earth is round. If she had half a brain she would have just said that-the two are not connected and just because science got the shape of Earth right does not mean science has not gotten a lot of shit wrong-its the nature of the game.
