She Should Go To Jail!

This is ridonculous! Celebrity justice once again!

Startling new revelations came to light on Friday in relation to Britney Spears.

According to the Department of Motor Vehicles, Britney Spears has never been issued a California license. Ever!

By law, California residents must get a California driver's license within their first 10 days as a resident.

Britney never did that!

What's worse, in the past several months, Britney's been pulled over by police officers and she has not been cited for driving without a valid license!!!

It's possible officers were persuaded that Britney maintains a residence in her home state Louisiana and legitimately considers herself more a Louisiana resident than a California resident. But we all know that's not true.

Hopefully next time someone sees Britney on the road, they will call the cops on her ass!

Technically, if she owns any residence in another state, claims it as her permanent residence, and pays taxes on it she doesn't have to get a drivers license or change her plates in the state of California. I moved to SC and lived there for 9 months, and got pulled over AND got a ticket and I owned land and a house in MO. I had my MO license and MO plates. I didn't have to change my stuff over, period, and they knew that. So what Brit Brit is doing is not illegal by any means!

If she doesn't have a valid driver's license, does that mean she's been driving around (getting stopped) and doesn't have insurance? Can one even get insurance without a valid drivers license? Maybe that's the reason she's driven around (and gotten stopped on numerous occasions) with impunity? Now you're making these up: 1.) If she didn't have a valid license all these years she's lived in California then she would never have been able to get auto insurance. 2.) She's been stopped multiple times and somewhere down the line it would have been noticed. I seriously doubt that in 10 years, everytime she was stopped the officer didn't check to see if she had a license. I don't think so. My respect for Perez is completely dead. I lived in arkansas for almost a year and drove with my louisiana license. was even pulled over by the police for speeding and was given no trouble for my out of state license.

by law, if you own property in another state (Britney owns property in Louisiana) then you are still considered a resident of that state and are not required to apply for a new license. it's really not a big deal.
