And this is coming from someone who is rooting for the kid to succeed. It would be the greatest of ironies if Zac's potential career were to be ssabotaged by the relentless Disney/CAA hetero-image campaign, while the careers of Emile Hirsch (possible Oscar nomination for 'Into the Wild' and Shia LaBeouf (destined for superstardom when the 4th Indy film is released) go into the stratosphere. Zac has talent, but timing and luck play into success as much as talent does, and Zac is in danger of missing the rass ring. I hope I'm wrong.

'Seventeen' and 'Footloose' (especially) are both really more like proposals at this time. Seventeen is further along - Jason Filardi is set to write the script for New Line Pictures, however one worrisome detail is that Filardi has two other scripts already in production ahead of 'Seventeen'. So the talk that 'Seventeen' will be a summer 2009 film is probably true. That's a long time to be out of the public eye, especially with Zac's fan base being so fickle. ‘Footloose' is much farther away. Did you know that there was going to be a 'Footloose' remake in 2003? The project flipped between a feature movie and a TV movie before being killed.

Yesterday, The X Factor season two auditions kicked off in Austin, TX with its new judging panel of Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, LA Reid and Simon Cowell!

Everything seemed to be off to a great start...that is, until Mz. Brit Brit was nowhere to be found!!!

Midway through the show, after a hopeful got up and “butchered” Brit’s Hold It Against Me, she supposedly got up and walked out!

Four contestants came and went and Britney was STILL missing!

After the audience was left wondering where she could have gone, reportedly, it was revealed that Britney
