   Personally, I love Kylie & have since my mom bought me the "Locomotion" tape when I was young. This song may not be her absolute best, but I still enjoy it & cannot wait for her CD to come out!! Also, as a fan of Monsieur Gainsbourg, I'm just glad to see that other artists are still paying attention to good music–not just some lame 'sample' like a lot of other artists have done lately. If only she would do a few shows here in the U.S.:-(

    This is one brave young lady who has beaten breast cancer and come back to perform once again. I'm 51, Kylie by the way is 39 (Rick take note) and looks great considering what she's been through. As a young girl in Australia she was (and is ) proud of her sexuality and of course got plenty of critisism for it. Then she got sick and everyone realised she was a human being not some demon sent to corrupt the world. Read her write up on IMDB and Wikipedia to learn more about this beautiful, brave and talented lady!

    Look guys and gals-you don't have to like her songs, but you should show some respect for every performer, not just ones who have had cancer. I like this website but some of you are awfully nasty with your comments. For example, the comment that said I'm just not feeling this song is ok. No one says you have to like it and music is always like that. Some you like, some you don't. But comments like "you suck" and other even nastier ones are uncalled for. Once again, everyone is forgetting that singers are HUMAN BEINGS, try to show some respect. You will like yourself better when you learn to critisize someone in a more respectful manner. People are also more likely to listen to you as well. For all you 20 somethings out there I know it takes a while to develop this approach, but I know you can and will, I work with lots of 20 somethings and you're some of the BEST youngsters that have come along in a while. Most of you are nicer than I was when I was 20 something(I'm 51) and many of you are nicer than I AM NOW! Just some friendly advice from an older "dude".

    The song is rubbish
    Just because she was ill dosen't mean we have to suck up to her, she has a very weak voice and I agree with some posters on her. Yes she was ill, yes she was brave like many other women with breast cancer I respect her for that. But I don't respect her as an artist because I think she 'sucks' big time. I'm not going to praise her music just because she was ill.

    Get over yourselves.

    I agree that it does sound like a reworking of Serge Gainsbourg's “Bonny and Clyde”. I'd say she's most likely used it as a sample, akin to Madonna with "Hung Up" and ABBA's 'Gimme Gimme Gimme'. It should be a decent record. It's Kylie Minogue for goodness sake, it's pop music! It's not meant to be extravagant and lavish and push the boundaries too far and rebel like nothing else - it's mainstream, not avant-garde!!! So please people, move on and stop bashing her!!!
