24 star Kiefer Sutherland was arrested early Tuesday morning for drunk driving.

The actor was in a celebratory mood, attending the Fox fall premiere party Monday night at LA club Area. A few hours later, he allegedly blew more than twice the legal limit when cops pulled him over on suspicion of DUI at 1:35 A.M.

Sutherland was held at the Hollywood police station for a few hours and released at 5:42 A.M. this morning on $25,000 bail.

He is scheduled to face a judge on October 16.

    Oh, and IS THIS EVEN NEWS ANYMORE, no, it can't "just happen to you." You have to go out and drink a lot, then get in a car and drive. All of those are choices. A meteor just happens to you, not a DUI. That is a moronic thing to say. If you really think you have no control over whether you drink and drive, then you have a serious drinking problem, you have no sense of adult responsibility, and either way you need help - GET IT!
