Despite The Shiteous Reviews…

The new Grey's Anatomy spin-off, Private Practive, premiered well last night.

The show, starring Kate Walsh, was the most-watched series premiere thus far this season.

Another strong debut was NBC's Bionic Woman, which also premiered on Wednesday. That show was the night's top show among adults 18-49, the highly coveted demographic amongst advertisers.

Hopefully both shows will get better as the season progresses!

I saw "Bionic Woman" last night. It sucked! It's basically a chick flick. And the lead girl isn't even that hot. The show will definitely get cancelled after this season.

I really liked Bionic Woman. I've been missing some female ass kicking since Alias went of the air. My roommates and I LOVED IT!….and we are the key demographic. Also HIGHLY entertaining was Dirty Sexy Money. Both shows deserve at least 5 TiVo until making a final determination.

I liked Private Practice. Sure it doesn't have all the Drama Greys does but that's the point. Isn't that what the character was moving away from. I think Kate Walsh did awesome job and I loved the opening with "Dont Feel like Dancing" by the Scissor Sisters. The Scence with Mother and Therapist was heartbreaking. I think it does have lots of potential. I didnt watch Bionic Woman. The original is the best that little sound effect is a classic. I also liked Dirty Sexy Money. Nothing . I mean they have a stunning Tranny. Beat that Paris Hilton.

watched private practice last night…it was just awful. I had high hopes for the show but will not invest anymore of my precious time waiting for the show to improve…the premiere should turn people on not off. From the opening scene with Kate dancing (if that is what you call it), through the awful tile counting scene just pathetic! I kept waiting, hoping for it to get better but at the end felt as if I had been bent over. Watched Dirty, Sexy, Money for the first time and loved it! This is one show I will continue to watch.

wow. I thought it was heinous. I liked the preview last fall, but last night's show was beyond stupid. IMO. I finally just turned it off. I mean, they spent ten minutes all arguing about not having a say in her being hired. We got the point after about one minute. I won't be watching the next episode. i wish she stayed on grays anatomy.

Hey Jen, #41, I sorta resent that you assume I am not a true Grey's fan if I don't like "Private Practice." It is nowhere near as good as Grey's — I watched the "pilot" last year and hesitated to watch last night because I hated it. Curiosity got the better of me, but thankfully, I won't need to devote any time to watching this horrid show.

I believe Kate Walsh was probably smart enough to leave a path back to "Grey's" and the opening scenes did that for her character. That is where I believe I will next see her…after this show tanks. I am sad to report that I will probably be hooked on Dirty Sexy $$, though.

You can definately tell that Private Practice and Grey's has the same writers. The dialog and chemistry seems forced between cast members- there isn't any likable qualites in any character, and the fact that they started it out with Addison in Seattle saying bye to Dr. Webber, just reminds you even more of the fact that the show is not Grey's. It didn't hold my attention- and Kate Walsh- being as beautiful as she is- seemed to be over acting in alot of her scenes. Not to impressed.

I Tivo'd both shows and I actually liked Private Practice. I actually didn't like the Addison character prior to the preview on Grey's, and i think the show/premier did what it was supposed to. establish this new world with Addison in it. I didn't like Bionic Woman, with the whole "I'm the first bionic woman," twist that i was able to see 20 minutes into the show. I hope it gets better. But did Jamie's boyfriend die? Are they going to bring in Steve Austin?

I love Addison. I love Kate Walsh, but that show sucked. Addison had much more chemistry with Alex. She was the best thing about Greys so you'd think that a whole show with her would be great, but it blew chunks big time. The cast despite being all great actors didn't have good chemistry, with the exception of Violet and Cooper. I want Addison back on Greys so she can fix the crap that was the finale of Alex falling in love with Jane Doe/Ava/whatever. Greys is going to suck without her. This show sucks. But Tim Daly and her have zero chemistry, which sucks even more since it's apparently who they want us to root for. Yeah the show was bad. Very bad. And I love Kate Walsh, although that is a not good photo, the woman is gorgeous.

"Bionic Woman" was pretty awful — terrible dialogue, even worse acting. The action and effects were OK, though. Did anyone stay tuned for "Life" after "Bionic Woman"? We ended up watching it accidentally and it's pretty great — nice premise, quirky, funny, poignant.

Love Greys, but turned off P.P. after the first 20 minutes because I went out. But I watched it on ABC.com today and actually ended up liking it as the episode progressed. I think it could be pretty good, they def. did some improving from that episode of Greys featuring it last season. The show last night was very contrived and just plain stupid. The storylines were ridiculous and very predictable. The characters were very one-dimensional and it was like nobody on the show had ever acted before. The set was very cheap looking. In addition to all of that, Kate's eyes freak me out. They are very weird looking. I will not be watching again. I wish I had watched Bionic Woman instead.

Bionic Woman looked dreadful, I turned it off after five minutes. Besides, Isiah Washington joins the cast next week and that definitely makes it a no-go in my book.

Whitney Houston Last Performance! Sang Yes, Jesus Loved Me The Night Before Her Death!

We have truly lost one of the greats today.

Whitney Houston has passed away at the age of 48, and although the cause of her death is currently unknown, she made an appearance last night at the Kelly Price & Friends Unplugged: For The Love of R&B Grammy Party at Tru Hollywood, and even took the stage to sing what sadly, ended up being her last public performance.
