Farrah's Cancer Update
Since her cancer has returned, Farrah Fawcett has (understandably) been laying very low.
Now, comes comes news that the Charlie's Angel alum is in Germany seeking alternative treatments.
Uh, oh. Things must not be good!
Craig Nevius, who produced Fawcett's reality show Chasing Farrah and a friend of the star, tells People that although Fawcett's cancer has returned, her health has not declined.
"She was declared 100 percent cancer free and then it came back," he says. "She was discouraged by the treatments she got here. The fact that it recurred after all that she went through was heartbreaking."
The treatment Fawcett is receiving in Germany is not allowed in the U.S.
Nevius declined to reveal the nature of the treatment but he did say, "She's been documenting everything in a video diary" for "what could be a very important documentary."

My mom died this yr from her cancer that had returned and I am just a teen. When cancer returns it is called "Advanced" and there is no cure. Farrah is going to die unfortunately. I wish her the best in this battle.
Ya, a very important documentary. As if. This spaced out moron was on a hit TV show for one single season and she did a small handful of made-for-TV movies 2 decades ago. Other than that, zilch. And anyone would be interested in her why?
I'm sorry she has cancer but we all go eventually. Some say it's in god's plan. I don't believe in god but that's what some say. Anyway, I wish her good health but a documentary? Right.

She had anal warts removed several years ago and now has anal cancer the warts were all up in her guts also , so who ever gave her this must of been hung , imagine poor little Farah with some big dick way up in her ass . you go girl

Re: Astro – Right on the money, Astro. People don't want to think that celebrities can do gross stuff. Farrah was once a beautiful woman. Instead of using her money and fame to do good, she made wrong choices. She is going to die and people need to know that you can't be doing high risk behavoir and not have consequences. Farrah is trying to avoid having surgery and having a colostomy.
Some of these posts are cruel - I wonder why I bother reading them, then again I wonder why I am wasting my time writing a response. Can't we all wish each other well and forgo writing such crude things. We don't know what Farrah has done re: contributions, good will, etc. What difference does that make anyway? She has cancer and I wish her peace and wellness like I would wish all cancer patients.
She hit my aunt with her car when she was 6 mos. pregnant and didn't even stop to see if she was ok. Karma's a bitch isn't it Farrah?
I have to say that all the nasty remarks and comments I've read are deeply concerning. Mostly because I detect soooo much ignorance that scares me…
Anal cancer is caused by Human Papiloma Virus, and that is the same virus responsible for a number of cancer types as breast, colon, cervix, skin, penile…
So I'm afraid everyone is at risk. I guess one has to take their chances and either chose to be live and enjoy or avoid any type of activity, which is basically not living at all. SO not much choice there….
I think Farrah is one of many people that seeks help in Europe or elsewhere because medicine is not as advanced as they make us believe when it comes to cancer. It is very possible to be in remission, and even cured with traditional methods but when they don't work is wise to seek help anywhere it's necessary.
I wish all the best to Farrah and I hope she gets better and can share with the world d her experience in Germany through her documentary, It would help and bring hope to many people….
All the best to all those who are going through chemo radio etc… and their families. I know how it feels like but I can say It gets better. Research, B17, switch to a vegan diet and keep the spirit up, it can be beaten, It is possible.
The body is very wise and It can heal very well if we help it a little bit.

Re: GET WELL – HPV is a sexually transmitted disease that doesn't cause many of the cancers that you so noted. Realistically, it offends you because it is hard for people that like you put celebrities on a pedestal and figure that they can do no wrong. Farrah did high risk sexual behavior and she made that choice. It is hard for anyone to accept that your lifestyle choices eventually catch up to you. That is why most of you people are offended because I am sure the majority of you people have had made some bad choices.

People that are stigmatising Farrah are doing so with the millions of people that are diagnosed with all the types of cancer linked to HPV.
Honey I think it is time you get a reality check, not even you with your, I assume, holly lifestyle are protected from it.
I do not put Farrah in a pedestal I put the increasing number of people that have cancer in a big pedestal because they deserve all our respect our care and love. Are you going to say that women and men with breast cancer, cervical c or penile cancer… made a wrong lifestyle choice?

Some people choose to put celebs on a pedestal and others (I guess you are included in this one) visit wesites about celebrities to see them fall and hurt…. I think you're as fascinated about celebrities as the ones that put them on a idealised position, the only difference is that you like them fallen and injured.
