The country crooner's new duets album, Reba Duets, is the number one album in America this week.

Reba's new album sold more than 300,000 copies in the first week — more than double McEntire's previous first-week sales high of 124,000 with It's Your Call in 1992.

Congratulations!

This is as close to #1 as duet partner Kelly Clarkson is gonna get for a while!

I just went to her concert. TOTALLY AWESOME. She had the gal from her REBA show open up. She was a hoot. Reba is at least a nice entertainer. Very friendly towards her fans. Been in the business a long time!

(I am devastated over the dixie chicks treatment, and that their album- and the incredible song, traveling soldier- never made it as a mainstay b/c of that ridiculous scandal.) however, a lot of people had trouble with the disrespect they showed for their leader, and that they did it on foreign soil… i don't think we can fault those people for having that opinion, anymore than they should've faulted the dc's for having theirs. some people just thought that the comment was "out of school" so to speak— okay to disagree, but not so disrespectfully when you're in another country representing us. but whatever, i'd like to know if reba was really cut throat on this b/c it would taint my impression of her a bit. but, if she was just disappointed in how they voiced their opinion, i can't fault her for that.

Criss Angel Is Recorded Threatening To Knock Out His Producer!

Whoa! Criss Angel is NOT messing around here!

The Luxor headlining illusionist was recorded having quite the verbal altercation with Joe Monti, one of his magic producers on Wednesday, during which Angel is heard threatening to knock him out - and now he's had a police report filed against him!

Furthermore, Monti later said to authorities that he recorded the meeting because Angel has a history of bullying employees!

He explains:

“I wanted him to know how demeaning he was. I created 50-60 percent of the magic for ‘Mindfreak.' I have no reason to do anything vindictively but I draw the line on violence.”
