This Sunday!!! Our first ever Perez Hilton Presents concert is THIS Sunday!!!
All these record label folks keep begging for tickets but the show is all sold out! And we have such an amazing line-up.
Taking to the stage will be Eric Hutchinson, Jenny Owen Youngs, Meiko and Emmy Rossum.
Plus, after all the performers have worked their magic, superstar DJ Tommie Sunshine will turn the El Rey into a big dance party! He'll also be spinning in between the acts.
It's going to be a truly special evening.
We can't wait!

I think you would have gained more respect by calling this as it was - Even if you didn't want to announce the line-up before tix went onsale, saying "This is going to be an awesome showcase of up-and-coming artists," would have had a LOT FUCKING MORE integrity than all that "This is an AMAZING line-up," and "You won't be disappointed… have faith in Perez!" Blech. Tell the truth, P-Nasty. Instead of looking forward to a night of new music from new artists, I just feel duped and annoyed. Tommie Sunshine threatened to kill me, I kid you not. Back in the day, he was a DJ in Chicago, and I was a DJ on student radio at Northwestern. I was playing a new cut by Paul Johnson on Dust Traxx, and I wasn't all that thrilled with it, and I said on air that it wasn't bad. Ten seconds later the phone rings and it's Tommie. He says "if you ever say anything like that ever again, I'll f*cking KILL you," and then the phone goes dead.
In conclusion, Tommie Sunshine is an insufferable bitch.

this seems to be a concert for artists who perez specifically likes, and in same ways 'discovered', so i mean, it makes sense for him to be excited about it, and produce a concert for them, and expose them more. They did suddenly become very popular after he posted something about them, so it makes sense.
anyway, even though I didn't buy tickets, i'm glad I had the opportunity to when they were going on sale - i'm glad perez is keeping it on the site, for anybody who wants to go, and not just limited to a specific group of people. Keep it like that, perez! it's a good thing.

Why in the world would you book Tommy Sunshine. We have known him personally for YEARS and he is actually not a very good DJ at all. Ask anyone in Atlanta, which is where he is from, and they wouldn't pay 5 dollars to see him! How sad such a horrible DJ is making it so big because of you!

Wow great line up, i have had the privilege to hear & meet Tommi Sunshine @ Crobar in Chicago in February one of the coldest nites in Chicago waited outside in the freezing cold for over an hour.. but once inside it was soo well worth it, he's the best DJ i've heard in a long time & believe me i've heard many Dj from all over !!
