Have you ever seen the Jellenik (sp?) chert, which charts alcoholism/addiction? I was looking at it on another website the other day and I was shocked to see that the near the bottm is "losing family", and it is not far from the bottom, which includes "insanity" and "death". she doesnt need support right now, she needs to hit rock bottom. If you support her right now while she is in the mindframe of "Im not going to rehab, I dont need it", that would be enabling her. You only support someone after they agree to go to rehab/are in rehab.

If I were to guess what drugs she is on, it would be Cocaine (maybe crack-cocaine) or Heroin/Oxycontin/Dilaudid (although dilaudid is only used best by IV). Meth/Crystal Meth in general is really nasty and looked down apon, atleast in my area. I dont know who would ingest a drug that is made with battery acid. That shit burns your nose hella bad unless it is cut.

Most of you are right hard core chemical drugs DO cause weight loss infact when i started cocaine i lost about 19 pounds in the first month. However i didnt eat a thing just constant drugs then when there was a night i couldnt find id eat everything in site. Another thing to take into concideration is the fact that Britney drinks ALOT and Alochol is really high in calories and fat and might curb the fact she is losing weight. Lastly Britney already lost a lot of weight shes NOT overweight shes average but after Jaydens birth she lost a lot of weight FAST and i never saw her work out so maybe she has hit her peak and until her drugged up VMA performance everyone was commenting on her "post baby body" there is a very good chance she is on meth shes DEFINATELY on something and the sad thing is she is NOT going to stop because shes cuts anyone out of her life thats holding her back from the drug including her two children…

Here's the deal. Growing up in a Meth addicted neighborhood, I have seen all different sizes of tweekers. The thin ones are more abundant, but fatties certainly exist. As far as the speed bumps, they take a long time to pop up on the face, and somtimes they never do. I think it has to do with the ammount of chemicals in the stuff. Finally I have a reason to be proud of growing up ghetto…

i've known a lot of meth users in my day. i never used myself, but lived near their apartment and knew them for many years. none of them got really skinny. none of them. they all stayed the same weight. the signs of their abuse could be seen in other physical ways, but their weight did not change and they did not lose any teeth. they all ate too. the apartment they holed up in was filled with garbage from fast food restaurants.

I seriously doubt she is addicted to meth. If she were addicted, rather than just an intermittent user, then she would certainly be much thinner and would not be eating so much greasy fast food. Yes, some users can still eat on it, but those are ppl who have been long-time users. She also wouldn't be out in public so much if she really was a tweaker…girls like her would be way too paranoid to be that social when tweakin. I do also have to argue that not all meth-heads have bad skin and teeth…that's just a bullshit scare antic. I've known my share of long-time users that had clear skin and normal teeth. It's all dependant on how often they use and how well they take care of themselves overall. My guess is that she is just a really heavy drinker and very possibly a barbituate or opiate user. I wouldn't be surprised if heroin was more her drug of choice. Her behavior is just not typical of a meth user.

I think her biggest problem is probably mostly alcohol, with some drugs on the side. Hard drugs like coke and meth make you really speedy and you lose your appetite, so she's be skinny if it was that, and opiates make you throw up, so she'd be even skinner if it were that. Booze, however, really helps to pack on the chunky pounds. She's just a tired old drunk.

She could be recovering from meth addiction. Come on, people. Use your fucking brains (if you got 'em). She spent a month in rehab then 24 hours in rehab a few months later. She's probably addicted to anything that will give her an escape from her fucked up 'life' as a celebrity with no privacy. She's probably gained a ton of weight over the past 12 months in an effort to stop using meth/coke/perscrip.drugs AND alcohol (but I'm betting its staying off the drugs that is her problem). She probably stayed off long enough to work out for a month or so before the VMA's - as soon as that blew up in her face she probably stayed up for 3 days doing drugs to forget about it.

Thus- the insaine cycle of a habitual drug user. Addicted to anything in particular? Probably not. Just substance abuse.
