He better not fuck it up!

      In this version of Friday the 13th, Jason goes after and kills all the scieno celebrities, in gruesome fastion. I'd have to think about how Tom Cruise,John Travolta,Kelly Preston,Leah Remini and the rest ,should be killed by Jason. Would be an awesome film.

      Re: k – This is the first time it's going to be remade. What are you even talking about? It's not exactly a remake either. It'll be more of a re-imagining. Look at Rob Zombie's HalloweeN compared to John Carpenter's original. If you can actually call that a straight remake then you have no clue what you're talking about. Also, Michael Bay is only PRODUCING IT he's not DIRECTING IT. So how can he fuck up the pace? If they have the writers behind Freddy Vs. Jason behind it, then you can ex[ect a good movie. They know how to keep the story intact without having to change a bunch of crap around. Incase anyone doesn't know, Michael Bay produced the Texas Chainsaw Massacre reimagining and it's prequel. Both of which made mass money. Also, despite what people think, the Friday the 13th franchise is far from dead. Freddy Vs. Jason was #1 for 2 straight weeks at the box office and it also made mass money. Doesn't anyone on here actually follow any real news? New Line Cinema has been working on this movie for at least 2 years now.

That's pretty good when people was saying the franchise was dead and couldn't possibly get to #1. It shows there's still a huge audience out there. Also, this Friday the 13th reimagining has been talked about for a while now. At one point last year, Quentin Tarentino ws on board to direct it but had to bow out because of the Grindhouse movies and something else he was working on. If just the idea of a new Friday the 13th movie gets the attention of someone like Quentin Tarantino, that says something about how good it could be.

      Why should anyone be surprised? We had Psycho in 1998, Texas Chainsaw in 2003 and the current Halloween in theaters thats a remake. Not to mention recent remakes of Black Christmas, The Hills Have Eyes and When a Stranger Calls. This is what Hollywood does: recycle. That being said, the original 1980 Friday the 13th is a CLASSIC.
