For once he's making headlines for something other than an arrest, a court appearance or a trip to rehab!

In today's Women's Wear Daily, model Irena Lazareanu was quoted backstage at the shows in Paris - "sporting an engagement ring given to her by Pete Doherty saying 'I very recently got engaged'".

Kate Moss recently got engaged herself, to new rocker boyfriend Jamie Hince.
