she's been doing humanitarian work for a LONG time, and is generally less in your face about it - sometimes I wonder if other celebs are doing it because they actually care, or just want the positive attention. Either way, it works out in the end because people in need get help regardless of what the motivation was behind the good will, but it's always something to ponder when you see magazines going on and on about so and so's work. I love Natalie Portman, she's very talented and a very classy girl - modern day hepburn (which has been said so many times before)

She's a REALLY bad actress!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did you actually see Star Wars, Closer, and V for Vendetta???? I think she is cute, and loveable, BUT: hated ALL those movies because her acting was SOOOoooooooo BAD!!!!!! I seriously don't get what there is besides her cuteness factor (and body of course)? She even made an appearance on Sesame Street, and was TERRIBLE there also!!! Does she have a relative in the "business", cuz she can be as cute as possible and still can't carry her lines. It takes away from the movie when she is in it, for me anyway. I like to be in the moment, but she makes me feel like I am watching a high school play!!! How did she make it? She visited Berkeley last night and she is an amazing lecturer. You could tell that she was genuinely interested in what she was talking about. While she was speaking, she wasn’t Natalie Portman the A list star, but Natalie Portman the strong educated woman aware of pressing world affairs. I hope she visits again soon!
