Lynne Lynne Spears flew in to Los Angeles on Friday.
Saturday, she reunited with Britney, People is reporting.
Sources say Lynne and Britney's younger sister Jamie Lynn flew from Kentwood, La., to Los Angeles Friday evening. On arrival at LAX, the two were mobbed by photographers.
Jamie Lynn, wearing eyeglasses, kept her head low, covered by the hood of her sweatshirt. Despite the attention, the women made a quiet exit from the terminal, declining to comment or to acknowledge the group.
Around 3 a.m., Lynne paid a visit to her daughter's Beverly Hills home before driving the two of them to Spears's new Malibu pad.

An Open Letter To The Spears Family:
The only way to really talk some sense into Britney…is by turning Jamie Lynn into a bona fide pop star–one who can equal, or surpass her sister.
Right now, Britney is head over heels in love with herself…hence, she looks at herself as being the family's bread winner…and assumes she can just push them around!!! Well, you can't push around somebody who has more than equaled, or surpassed you in the fame and success department.
At this point, the only way Britney is going to be able to appreciate her family, is by learning that they don't need her financially, or any other way. Trust me…if she hasn't fallen deeper into her self induced problems by then, or done something else equally horrible to herself…Britney will actually begin to show her family the respect that they deserve. Call it reverse psychology if you want…but that is exactly what is needed here…as Britney is suffering from drug and alcohol addiction as much as she is suffering from being a self important spoiled brat…who thinks she is better than even her own family and kids–whom she now views as beasts of burden!!!
That said, I am more than certain that Justin Timberlake and Timbaland would be more than happy to help jump-start Jamie Lynn's music career by wrting, and producing tracks for a solo album featuring her–an album that will be a huge hit!!!
If you really take the time to think about it…this move really makes a great deal of sense.

After a marathon intervention session with her mother, sister and ex-husband, Britney Spears appears to be back to her usual, unusual behavior.
Around 7pm PT on Saturday, the pop star stormed out of her Malibu home, where she had been locked in conversation with her family since the early morning hours, and sped off once more in her white convertible with a parade of more than three dozen photographers trailing her.
Her first destination was the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica — though it was more of a drive-by than a pit stop, as Britney only pulled into the valet area, had a brief discussion with a parking attendant and then got back on the road; all without leaving the car.
Next on Brit's latest tour of SoCal's celebrity hotspots was only 100 yards down the road at the Ivy at the Shore restaurant. Once again, her visit here was exceptionally brief as she left without eating and headed straight back home to her gated community off Mulholland Drive.

If you have read the full article, she was not loose on the LA streets. She didn't even stop @ the places, she went went back home to her Mailbu home where her mom & her sister @ at. Maybe she needed a breather, she was with her mom & sister for 12 hrs. She needed some air & she went right back home to them. I don't see her as giving up, she is trying & that is a good first start, @ least she didn't stay @ the hotel, she went right back home to her mom.

Hallelujah! Glad to finally see some good progress in the soap opera that is Britneys life. I'm honestly hoping she gets through this now…I've never really been a fan of hers but I've grown up with her music and there is just such a big difference between who she is today and who she was just five years or so ago.
