He tells Newsweek:
- "I knew what I was getting into with the whole Pam fiasco. Thank God I made my mark, and music, before I got into that shit storm. I've made certain moves I gotta live with the rest of my life, but I'm not gonna bitch about it. I think I can bring it back to the music now.
- "I thank God I got out of that. In hindsight, it was the best thing for my son and I that I ever did. Now my friends are speaking out, saying 'Good move.' But I had to touch the stove to know, and it burned the fuckout of me."
- "I say if you do interviews with Us Weekly, don't be pissed off when they photograph you out at the park with the family, shopping or whatever. You can't have it both ways. I have no sympathy."

He can talk crap about Pam Anderson until he's blue in the face but it will not change the fact that he was once married to her. If Pam is such a slut, what is he? His whole image is about partying and strippers. Why is he trying to act like he's above Pam now? If he was any type of man, he wouldn't be airing their dirty laundry for all of the world to hear. He just comes across as an immature, bitter little boy when he tries to disparage Pam.
Kid, Kid, Kid…I love your music, your new single is HOTT, but COME ON, you had NOTHING to say about Pam until your CD came out. The only WHORE is you. STOP. You don't need to whore yourself, let Pam alone. You didnt get the girl, but you got some good music, take the high road and shut the fuk up about Pam. Why when I guy tells it like it is, do people say he's bitter? I know many guys who put up and shut up for a LONG time, then when they spill the beans it's like they're not "over it". Double standard. He probably fell for her sweet act, and don't get me wrong she does seem to be a nice human being. I mean what guy wouldn't do Pam even if he didn't like her okay? And let's not forget Pam let Scott Baio do her, and Tommy Lee and…well you get it. She doesn't make good choices either. Now she marries Rick Salomon who outed Paris in a sex-tape, when Pam was pissed about someone doing that to she and Tommy. Hypocrisy! Soooo, with that, I must conclude Kid Rock is probably telling the truth, and so for God's sake let a man tell his side of the story. I don't doubt Pam's a cool person, I don't doubt she's a good Mom but let this be a lesson to all you younger men who think Cougars are cool. They're not, you'll get burned, and they have a lot more experience playing the sympathy card and making you look like an a**. You go Kid…and stay away from the old woman y'hear?
