I am still carrying some weight from my second daughter, who is now nine years old! I am really busy working and looking after my children and husband. My husband doesn't help much around the house as he is having chemotherapy. I walk the dog, make breakfast, make lunches, drive the girls to school, go to work, pick them up after school, take them to sports/music, get home at 5:30, make supper, we eat, I clean up while they are doing homework (I help if they need it), sit with them when they practice piano (they like that and so do I), do a load of laundry, lie down with my nine-year-old who hasn't been able to fall asleep by herself since her Dad got sick. My older daughter sits with her Dad who gives himself chemo (he is a doctor); they listen to music and she puts herself to bed. I have usually fallen asleep with my younger daughter.

I must find time for myself to work out, get my hair and nails done, buy new makeup (I ran out a couple of months ago and haven't had time or money to buy new stuff).

Why does every in hollywood who looks good have to have surgery? Give me a break. Some get lucky with genetics. I'm sur emany do get surgery but everytime a mom looks good after a child it is blamed on surgery. I have 2 children. After my first I was back to pre baby weight in 2 months. With my second it was 3 months. I never got stretch marks either. Sometimes it just happens. I was lucky for sure. And she looks great either way.

I'm told all the time that I look just like Jaime Pressly (pregnant or not preggers). Even at the Pediatricians office 3 days after having my 3rd baby. It is easy to bounce back after pregnancy when a REASONALBE amount of weight is gained (20-30lbs.).

If you're one of those women who eats like an out of control pig & gains 50, 60 lbs. of course you're not going to regain your figure in a timely manner.

A pregnant woman needs on average ONLY an extra 300 calories/day…and those calories shouldn't come in the form of Twinkies, donuts, Cheetos, etc. It should come from NUTRIENT DENSE FOODS.
