Dayanara Backtracks
Marc Anthony's ex-wife, Dayanara Torres, is denying reports in the Spanish language press that she confirmed the news that Jennifer Lopez is pregnant.
The former Miss Universe is now saying that she was misquoted and just released the following statement:
"I have neither confirmed, nor have first-hand knowledge of any pregnancy. I had been advised of pregnancy 'rumors' by my manager who wanted to make sure I was aware in case my children heard anything at school that I may need to address; so when I was approached by a reporter who stated as fact that my children were to have a new sibling soon, I assumed that this had been confirmed. My answer to him was that though they had no knowledge of a sibling, that I imagine that they will be incredibly happy. Marc, his family and I have a very respectful and mature relationship which we work hard to conserve for the benefit of our children."

It's not JLO's work, Dayanara signed a confidenciality contract with Marc when they got divorced and she is not able to comment anything on Marc or his life, or his love partners otherwise she won't get any money for her kids in the future, that's why she was so worried to take it back.

I saw an interview that Christina (Spanish Talk Show Hostess) had with Ms. Torres a few months after Marco Antonio left her. Ms. Torres poured out her heart. She was devestated when Marco left. She had just had his baby. Ms. Torres said that with the help and emotional support of her family and dear friends she pulled thru. She said it was an AWFUL expierence. She did not mention j-lo at all in the interview. I'm so glad Ms. Torres is out and about and dating. She is truly beautiful.

She wasn't asked if Jlo was pregnant - she was basically asked what the kids thought of having a new sibling. Of course everytime they show the interview now, they conveniently the stations leave out when the reporter askes her the question; and just start off with her answer - which was in terms of her kids and how they might feel.
