The BBC is going to reduce its workforce by 12%.

That means that 2,000 people are going to be fired very soon! And that number could actually reach as high as 2,800.

Bummer!

      P.s. I do actually work at BBC TV Centre in London, i'm not too worried, the BBC has thousands on employees all over the world. These cuts mean nothing. God, I'm boring myself…. Sorry!

      People think it's some sort of contest to try and be first after a story is posted. But instead of saying their comment they just frantically type "first!!!"
      There is a delay in posting so even though 50 other people have already submitted their comments, more people come along, get excited seeing no comments and thinking they will be first so they post, proudly announcing "first".
      10 minutes later all the comments show up and only 1 person actually got first, usually someone just making a comment and not saying FIRST. funnily enough. =)
