      I understand what she is trying to do, but I don't like that she isn't going to go on shows to talk about it. That is the same problem that she had on the View. She is very opinionated, but cannot debate the issues with someone else. She wants a forum where she can unilaterally voice her opinion without a returned dialouge.

      Her book will never be a failure. It's already getting pre-ordered at an unbelievable rate. All proceeds go to charity. Rosie is the most giving celebrity that has ever existed. You don't even know. She knows she's fat. She knows she's a lesbian. She knows she has a big head. You can stop saying that any day now. She's down to earth, she shops at Target, but she also knows she's rich and that she can afford things in life that most cannot. She's not pretentious, she just IS. I'm tired of seeing people bash her when they don't even understand what she stands for or the kind of person she is.

      You know its all fine and good to discuss being an artist, being a sculptor, being an author, climbing to new heights and so on, But in the end none of it means a damn thing if she can't work with other people, and Rosie clearly can't. She lives and shares a world with 8 billion people yet you never really get the feeling she gets insight or learns any new lessons or is introspective of herself from other people. In the end it is really all about herself, her thoughts, her feelings, and it all shows with her inability to get along in a group or her inability to let others express their feelings without ridicule. One minute she's pontificating her dreams the next she's bashing someone's religion or their moral belief. This is where she exposes who she really is; Intolerant, hostile and aggressive towards anyone who thinks differently then her.

      I find some of these people blind "hatred" of rosie somewhat funny. I wonder if it's because she's a bigger lady or because she's a lesbian or maybe both? Fact is that she's a very strong willed opininated woman that doesn't back down when she feels strongly about something and that's how more women should be. I would think that more women would be in support of her, but it almost seems as if that would be taboo. I personaly think that rosie is a talented woman who has as she said "got to the top" only to realize it's not as good as she thought it was gonna be. Because people are so fickle and always waiting for that next sign of weakness to latch onto being a celeb is different than it was when she was a child dreaming of being a star. It's morphed into something that to me doesn't look like it would be much fun at all.

      When the Virginia Tech massacre happened, Rosie came on the View with a puss on, she wasalmost beligerent , and she kept refering the the work SHE had done after the Columbine tragedy, how SHE had tried to avert any more tragedies like that. That would be nice, of course, no one wants to see these horrors, but she is SO INCREDIBLY DELUDED to think that she can use her celebrity to divert disasters in some entire and magical way.
      It is indicative of a Huge, HUGE ego, and her anger at the rest of the world for "letting this happen" when SHE had tried to stop it, was striking to me.

      First of all an artist is not someone who's famous for picking fights with other celebrities who want no part of it. Her fame is based on controversy and the "clay" for her sculptures is taken from other celebrities in order to create controversy. Rosie works everyday: she's got the travel business, her charities, helping people with private adoptions and others too numerous to mention She's not unemployed because she's not on the View or another show five days a week.
