A crazy man that has been stalking Uma Thurman for two years has been arrested. And, no, it wasn't her ex-husband, Ethan Hawke!

Jack Jordan of California believed that he "loved" the actress star ever since he started stalking her and that they were destined to be together.

Shortly after he began stalking Thurman, Jordan's family realized how insane he was and had him committed.

By this summer, though, he was out and about again yet still crazy.

In early August, he drove from California to New York and camped in his car near Thurman's West Village home. He would approach her home three or four times a week and ask to see her. He'd drop off scary letters on her doorstep and would just be totally creepy.

On October 5th, he was finally arrested and charged with stalking.

Thankfully no one's gotten hurt.

      The laws in California do not allow a family member to have someone committed … I know this from trying to get my Mother mental health care. Most doctors are afraid to say someone has mental problems for fear of getting sued. Soooooo, I doubt dude was in a mental hospital or committed anywhere else.

      This is crazy - the man's in jail for being in love w/a celebrity and telling her he felt so low he could kill himself - and now the media are all calling him a creep and her beautiful and sexy; if he's obsessed throwing him in jail is not the answer, nor fair: he wasn't trying to hurt her. Putting yourself in the public eye requires dealing w/the public - what if they'd jailed all those Beatle and Elvis women! The ones still obsessed would be the mentally/emotionally vulnerable ones: jailing can't be good (look what happened to David Letterman's stalker - she killed herself, hampered by a criminal record for a love she couldn't control. Society's dumb - this is for treatment, counselling and security, not criminalization and mockery of the man.
