I am glad he got the Nobel Peace Prize. He has done amazing work in bringing attention to the environment.

As for him running for president, I hope he doesn't. I think he would make a great president and I would definitely vote for him. But, I think he can do much more for the environment if he isn't president. As president, he would be bogged down by too many other issues, and I feel like his environmental work would suffer.

global warming, or more correctly, climate change, has the potential to create catastrophic events. wars, famine, drought, etc. These sorts of events are definitely unpeaceful. Gore's initiative to make the public aware and do something hopefully will help reduce these detrimental, unpeaceful effects of climate change. Thus, Gore is advocating PEACE. Also, I'm sort of making this one up, but his international approach also helps advocate peace among the nations. only working together on the international level can climate change be effectively combatted.
