A Sad Day

The music biz is in the crapper, but at least it's still alive and somewhat kickin. Record stores, on the other hand, are dead.

People (including us) just don't go to record stores anymore. They mainly get their music online. That's why Tower Records folded earlier this year and other chains are likely to follow.

We used to love going to record stores. Oh well, times change and so do we.

Reflective of a different climate, the Spice Girls have announced that their new Greatest Hits album won't be sold in traditional retail outlets. Instead, the record will only be available at Victoria's Secrets stores and at online retailers, like iTunes.

Them ladies must be getting mad money from Victoria's Secret!

The girls are also performing at the lingerie company's fashion show.

We'll buy our copy on iTunes. We don't have any need for a bra and panties - and neither do half the girls in Hollywood!

FYI P, not that you'll ever see this, but…. Tower folded for a lot of other reasons. That's why Sonic Boom and Easy Street are still alive and kicking here in Seattle. I know your not a jornalist, but you do appear to have some inteligence. So, where are your friends who are shit talking former employee's of Tower? Cauz it certainly wasn't itunes that led to that narcasists demise.

#61 Cary you are soooooo right! Pop rock rap all of them are anemic versions of their former selves. Have you noticed you're listening to melodies that have been you've heard before. Your mind starts to play the old song and lyrics in your head then you realize its some new song with some minnie mouse female voice. I thought it was me that was beginning to hate "new" music. Strictly retread.

no music is orignial - they have copied others, and anyway its better to download shit music then to buy it . Buying shit music gives the artist the wrong idea —ie that their music is somewhat valuable and worth something ====and it just encourages them to make more shit music
