Last night each of the presidential campaigns reported their third-quarter fundraising numbers.

The results are clear. We continue to build the largest grassroots movement in history, but Washington lobbyists and special interests rallied to help Hillary Clinton out-raise us for the first time.

He sounds like a sore loser. I like Hillary and Obama, but I find this statement to be in poor taste, especially since both Hillary and Obama are playing for the same team, so to speak. They're likely to be running mates later on down the road, at which point both will benefit from Hillary's campaign thus far… He is right that campaign funding should be looked into, but a personal attack on another good candidate is a bit desperate.

It is very hard to trust politicians. It's sad to say, but I have my doubts about his campaign contributions. It doesn't seem prudent that competition between them should be based on fundraising power (I admit I am unfamiliar with American politics, are there campaign caps like in Canada?). It would be unfortunate if the successful candidate was choosen on fundraising power, I hold out hope that they are selected for recognition of their abilities and the values held by the majority vote.
