Barack vs Hillary: It's War

barack1__opt.jpg

Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama just sent out the following Hillary-attacking email to his supporter.

We love it. And we hate it.

Check it out:

"Perez

Last night each of the presidential campaigns reported their third-quarter fundraising numbers.

The results are clear. We continue to build the largest grassroots movement in history, but Washington lobbyists and special interests rallied to help Hillary Clinton out-raise us for the first time.

If we want real change in this country, then we need to prove that together we are stronger than the lobbyist-driven money machine that has dominated Washington for too long.

The situation here is simple. We are $2.1 million behind. We must close that gap right now. I need you to make a donation of $50:

https://donate.barackobama.com/closegap

Hillary Clinton aggressively seeks money from Washington lobbyists and special interest PACs. She's even said that these lobbyists represent real Americans.

She's wrong.

I think it's time to turn the page on that kind of politics, and that's why I have not accepted a dime from Washington lobbyists and special interest PACs in this race. We rely on a network of more than 350,000 ordinary people to make us competitive — more supporters than all the other Democratic candidates combined.

Washington lobbyists have chosen their candidate and are determined to provide her with an overwhelming advantage. But you can even up this contest.

In the face of the most entrenched political machine in Democratic politics, I believe a movement of ordinary Americans can change our country. And you can prove that right now.

I need you to make a donation to close the gap:

Barack"

      45

He sounds like a sore loser. I like Hillary and Obama, but I find this statement to be in poor taste, especially since both Hillary and Obama are playing for the same team, so to speak. They're likely to be running mates later on down the road, at which point both will benefit from Hillary's campaign thus far… He is right that campaign funding should be looked into, but a personal attack on another good candidate is a bit desperate.

I dont believe he is speaking out against Hilary per se, but more on the lines of attacking the shady business that is Washignton Politics. He doesnt make a invalid point, so why not support his campaign to make a dent in the set-for-life politics of washington?

I think it's a bit ballzy to tell you how much you need to donate. I've donated twice to Hillary for the pure fact that her donation email was sincere and not pushy. If he truly belives he's the man for this country it 2.1 million dollars or $50 bucks shouldnt make a difference.

It is very hard to trust politicians. It's sad to say, but I have my doubts about his campaign contributions. If he truly is NOT accepting money from lobbyists, then I think that is very commendable and I believe a person who is willing to rally for the PEOPLE deserves a chance. Thanks for the info Perez. :)

It doesn't seem prudent that competition between them should be based on fundraising power (I admit I am unfamiliar with American politics, are there campaign caps like in Canada?). It would be unfortunate if the successful candidate was choosen on fundraising power, I hold out hope that they are selected for recognition of their abilities and the values held by the majority vote.

This has turned me to Hilary. Special intrest groups is a political term for groups working for human rights issues. The term was brought in after the civil rights movement. Special interest groups are blacks, cubans, women, homosexuals, etc. They are groups working for their interests to get recognition and acceptance. They are not all huge money making organizations. They are the people of America.

Barack is basing his campaign to much on the fact that he is african american. I believe Hilary is doing the same on the fact that she is a woman. I think there are much better canidate outs there besides those two and I would love to see John Edwards or even Al Gore get it.

Stop bitch slapping Hillary. Barack gives awesome speeches, but what has he accomplished in life? Has he been a spectacular Representative? Governor? Senator? No…he's gotten elected because he speaks really well.

He cannot get elected (yet), but Hillary can. We need to dropkick the republicans in the next election and Hillary is the one to do it.

I think Obama is desperate in his campaign that has failed to catch on in the polls. He's abandoned the "politics of hope" that he touted early on. that's hella shady. He really honestly wants us to believe that he doesn't have any non middle class backing? Campaigns are way too expensive to be only grassroots. he's getting backed by rich powerful people too. So maybe they aren't lobbyists but they are still paying to have his support.bull.

the fact that he is endorsed by a guy that draws fake dicks and cum on a website promoting anna nicole sex scenes should speak volumes.

Hillary has way more class and is the best candidate because she's not hitting below the belt.
