Many times i've been out with my mother speaking in Portuguese and people have thought we were speaking Russian. I think it sounds a little better than Russian but whateva. Spanish from Spain also has some slavic elements but not to the same extent. Portuguese has a lot of sh and zh sounds as does Gallego another Iberian language spoken i Galicia just north of Portugal..
