The problem is 2 fold. 1- she already tried country and gospel way back when and couldn't make enough money to keep papa in the lifestyle he dreamed he was entitled to. 2-country fans like at least the illusion of repectability and virginity in their female singers.

I love watching her and Celine Dion sing…they both are such emotional, powerful singers. Her life seemed so together when she focused on her singing…I miss her music. Why is she wasting her talent? I would love for her to make a country album.

No, but there is a Palm Restaurant. And it is a hot spot for the record biz. She was here, with Cassey Cobb & daddy. Saw them personally. I think she can pull this off. Shit, if Britney moved here & got the hell outta the damn spot light for a freak'n minute, she could as well. Country is doing some really cool stuff right now. I saw Jessica, Cacee, and Daddy Simpson at Exit/In (little but famous Nashville venue) last night. She was way shorter and tinier than I had expected…thin, but not super-skinny. Also, her nose is pretty fugtastic in person…and her dad seems just as creepy as you'd expect him to be. Cacee was actually way prettier in person than she appears in photos.

John Rich is Brilliant! And Jessica has a beautful voice. As long as Papa Joe doesn't try to interfere like he does with everything else, I think John can really make something of her. John has more morals than to sleep with someone who's slutted their way around Hollywood… that's more his brother Isaac's style. I think her mistake is making bubblegum pop music. It doesn't give her credibility at all. She said she will express her true feelings from life experiences in the music of this country album. So I'm sure this future album will finally portray her as a serious artist..
