Soap opera star Nathaniel Marston was arrested for beating the shit out of three people in NYC this past weekend.
Police said the One Life To Live actor appeared to be under the influence of narcotics, possibly cocaine.
After the incident, which took place at 4:50 a.m. on Sunday morning, Marston was taken to Bellevue, aka the crazy person hospital, where he was labeled an emotionally disturbed person, police said.
He's expected to lose his job.
But at least he now has a future in reality TV.
This bitch is crazy!

I agree with you Amy, this post (by perez) is just another reason why there is so much stigma surrounding mental illness. My brother has been in THE CRAZY PERSON hospital and did get the help he needed. So until someone has experienced what is like to see a loved one get well at these hospitals, he/she should never pass such judgment. There are so many ignorant people out there so I won't hold my breath.

I've been looking for my old friend and Hell's Kitchen neighbor Nate to reconnect for some time now and seeing this first thing on a Monday is freakin' hilarious. I remember one night he came into his NYC apartment with a can of red paint and started painting EVERYTHING — even the pinball machine he eventually punched and broke. I don't watch soaps but I imagine that is a hard thing, having Midwestern mothers trying to pawn off their hideous daughters to you while screaming your character's name (not even your real name) when getting off an airplane. I remember people would always call him his character's name. Despite his obvious issues and struggles with coca, Nate is a really great, generous and kind person and I hope he's okay. I can't believe he's on Perez' site, though. Who knew he was THAT famous? I had better watch my ass or I'll be seeing myself on here soon!

He was fired from another soap (As The World Turns) a few years ago after attacking an ATM Machine for some crazy reason. This isn't the first time he's been in trouble. There were rumors of drugs back then and there have been rumors of him being on drugs for the last couple of years on One Life to Live. He clearly has problems and should be fired after this coked up stunt.
Oh I absolutely cannot stand him on OLTL. I will be happy to see a new Michael or no Michael at all.
I met Nate many times and he happens to be a great guy. Unfortunately, this nasty incident happened. We should pray for him instead of condemning him.

I totally agree with you, but people never make fun of people with physical illness (such as cancer) but boy do they trivialize mental illness. Those who judge are only followers of all the other ignorant, closed minded, prejudice a-holes who know NOTHING about the reality of mental illness. I only hope they experience what it is like to see a loved one suffer from an disorder. It is so easy to judge what is NORMAL but why is it so much harder to be empathetic towards those who HAVE to deal with a mental illness. I urge many of you to become educated about mental illness so you don't end up like the judgemental PEREZ.
