San Diego Is Burning
This really sucks!
The city of San Diego and surrounding areas are in a state of emergency.
8 seperate fires have burned 40,000 acres and the mayor told everyone to stay home Monday.
No school. No work. Stay off the roads.
If you are in one of the areas to evacuate, evacuate ASAP.
Things are so bad right now that the radio stations have gone dark. Workers are home.
Stay strong SD!

What's the matter April, did the "Bible Thumper" strike a nerve. What are you so afraid of that you are so vicious and nasty. She didn't write it, God did. Now there's someone you need to be afraid of. And if you choose to say you don't believe in him then you're in even worse trouble. Face it you have wished destruction on fellow human beings and God says he will write your name in the book for that. No one made you do it. It was your choice and it will be your punishment. Such a shame.
thanks Perez. I'm from SD but now living in Seattle. My parents live in Chula Vista and my in-laws live in Scripps Ranch. Much thanks to the firefighters and for the people who have come together and not acting like fools during such a misfortunate time.
Thank you to the many companies and corporations that are trying to ease this agonizing time for the people of SoCal. Anyone in need of services go to KCAL tv (kcal.com). Read through their fire coverage reports and you will find services that are being donated by AT&T, U-Haul and other businesses to help you. And great thanks to restaurants like Nobu who are feeding our firefighters and rescue people at their own expense. It is generous and kind of you and shows such a spirit of caring and community. And thank you to all of you who have shown loving hearts and sent your best wishes, prayers and thoughts to us. Thank you for your dignity, humanity and sense of decency and brotherhood. God bless you for being there for us in our time of need.
Thanks For the well wishes!! were trying to stay strong here in san diego but things are getting worse…the air is really smoky and thry are still evacuating people…keep us in ur prayers!
perez, thanks for thinking of us in s.d.. you are the ultimate man!!
Everything is closed and canceled. last night from my dorm building we could see the springvalley fire growing. there is 35,000 kids that go to SDSU and its like a ghost town right now. everyone is packing up and flying home. pray for those whos houses are burnt or could be, evacuate when they tell you too.
I live in SD and my house is luckily left untouched so far. There are fires surrounding my area right now, but the closest one is at leaste 7 miles away. Its pretty scary out here. There is a fire north of me, south of me, west and now even east.
Re: The Phoenix Speaks –
Basically, FUCK YOU. You don't know my Godparents who work their ASSES OFF for 30 years but still wear the same jeans they've had for 20 years and don't own a car over 10 years old, yet have millions in the bank for starting an IT business. They finally decided to buy land in Poway and built a $4 million house NOT because they are materialistic, but because they get to enjoy not having close neighbors and living in open land. Did THEY deserve to lose their home after living in a small apartment for 3 years while building their dream home??? My Godmom who is the MOST WONDERFUL, CARING AND GIVING woman has been in tears for two days NOT because of her home being burnt to the ground, but because a picture of a painting of her father which her daughter spent 6 months painting after his passing recently. All I hear on the news is people obviously upset about their homes but they all say it can and will be rebuilt, but the part they can't get over is the photos and other things that can't be replaced. How the FUCK can you people say shit like this??? Well, I'm not sure where you live, but I can only assume that if your city was in flames and they have similar attitudes as yours, peoples responses would be "Well…at least we got rid of those ignorant, inbread white trash assholes." Fuck you.
For everyone else, thank you.
Re: thapiratequeen –
Wow, unbelievable. How can you wish that on anyone? I use to work at the Prudential in Rancho Santa Fe and I use to think the people were stuck up. Once I got to know them I realized it was my own insecurities and I just assumed they would act that way towards me so I reacted that way towards them. Once I got to know them I realized A LOT of them weren't born into money. They worked their asses off for it. How can you all say things like that just because you're bitter. So what if they play golf all day and throw lavish parties. They work HARD to live that life and anyone can do it if you choose. That's the truth. Most of them are highly involved in charities…not just money but their time as well. Just because there's a few bad apples doesn't mean they should all be generalized. So, since you grew up in the ghetto you're a crack head with AIDS, herpies, the clap and Hep. C…and have had 5 kids from 4 dads by age 20??????? Maybe your hometown should burn down to rid Cali. of that??? (I OBVIOUSLY don't mean that but I'm making a point.)
Here's a bulletin from my godparents daughter:
Tragic fires in San Diego and LA continue…I am thankful that all of my family, relatives, and friends are thus far safe.
Mother Nature sure is a colossal omnipotent force. Each one of us are just as significant and insignificant. San Diego looks like a checkerboard of luck of the draw hit or miss houses burned to the ground. We happened to be one of the unlucky residents in our neighborhood.
My father built his Italialian palace over a two year period, and those of you that have built a custom home know how frustrating it can be. My family got to enjoy their home for about a year and a half up until yesterday. They were evacuated a couple nights ago at 4 am, and not given the time to pack or grap our entire life of sentimental belongings. (We did get a couple picture albums and home videos which is awesome). Our house was pure stone and marble and they felt sure that it would survive. We are all shocked to see how wrong we were.
The hardest part for me is to see how much my family hurts. My parents worked so hard for everything we own. They lost everything, most importantly, all of our belongings that invoke memories. Yes, it's a pain in the ass to rebuild a home and buy a bunch of furniture, but certain things cannot be replaced. A house full of sentimental memories reduced to a foundation of ash…
Please keep your prayers out for us and for the thousands of other people that lost their homes as well. I just hope that everyone remains safe and that the fires die down and can be contained soon. Thankyou, and I send all my love sent to my comrade San Diegans.
I can't believe these hicks are glad SD is on fire, are you kidding me??
I hope you get karma up the ass 3 fold, the people hating on SD are probably stuck in their trailers with no cable and the internet is their only friend…
My clit is your god hater country bumpkins!
Re: L – It sounds like you of all people should have understood the panic. You have overcome what sounds like a natural disaster (probably with the help of others) so have some sympathy

Re: ♀♀krazihottkelli♀♀the real bitch:c – Why is it always the Governer's fault? And the Mayor has to ask for the governer's help. He doens't just take over. STFU
i live in san diego/poway and the fire has been surrounding me. my prayers and thoughts go out to all those affected!!! even though there is this tragedy, it is AMAZING how we have all come together. SD stay strong!!!
thank you so much perez! i always read your site, and i know you always talk about and speak about important issues. i live in san diego, and it is pretty bad here. everytime that i go online, there is never any mention of what is going down over here [and it is pretty serious, mostly everyone has been evacuated], and until i saw this, i was feeling pretty down.
but again, thanks so much, you rock AND ROLL!
Re: Fuck off asshole – I hope you burn for that comment, fuckface

All the jerks that have negative things to say about the fire and California, just wait your day will come just wait!
Thank you for your support PEREZ! I live in San Diego and its really been an emotional couple of days. And no, our plastic bodies aren't burning to all those haters out there!
Thanks everyone for their thoughts and prayers to us San Diegans. I myself was affected in the Cedar fires 4 years to the day when we lost our home and then had to evacuate again on Monday. It is hard at first when you feel like you lost everything, but in the end we got out alive and with all our animals. You have to remember that it is just "stuff" and everything will work out in the end. Memories are memories and you will have them with you forever. Not all Californians are materialistic as some people on here seem to believe. You really shouldn't pass judgement because you never know how you would react to a great tragidy happening to your family or yourself unless you have been through it. You can't say we deserve something like this just because we live in a dessert area. Do you say that to hurcane, sunami or tornado victums and blame them for living in the areas that they live in? Some of your fans Perez really need a good kick in the ass. I wouldn’t mind doing it myself. Good luck to everyone in the L.A. areas as well as my fellow neighbors.
FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE HATING AND SAYING YOU'RE HAPPY THIS IS HAPPENING…I HOPE SOME PSYCHO GETS A HOLD OF YOU..BENDS YOU OVER AND USES A BUTCHER KNIFE TO SLICE YOUR ASSHOLE OPEN AFTER THEY MAKE YOU SUCK ON A CUM SOAKED BLOODY TAMPOON
Thanx Perez, I live in SD and things are pretty bad, but we believe in our dear firefighters and we are a strong city, with God's help we'll get through this. Much Love
you said "seperate" in your blog…………it is spelled "separate"
I sincerely hope that entire fucking state gets burnt completely down. California has been the origin of so much filth and decay over the past century. I hope everyone dies in flames like they deserve to.

FORGET TO TAKE YOUR MEDS PSYCHO?
#658 - Bill says – reply to this
Some one should e-mail Perez and see if he would start another post. This one is getting pretty, out of the way. I would but it would probably be better if someone else did.
HEY BILL - A THOUGHT, BUT WHAT IS GOING TO STOP THE MENTAL MIDGETS AND COCKROACHES FROM DRIPPING SHIT ON A NEW THREAD?
This really sucks ass right before Christman & Thanksgiving. It kind of gives you a wide eye open experience..let's you know what's
important..and it ain't watching Unfitney go get coffee every fuckin day.
Re: crotchrocket – Ain't that the truth. Gives you a little perspective doesn't it?
Thank you to everyone who is praying and sending good vibes to us here is Southern CA! It seems God is listening, as the strong Santa Ana winds are subsiding and the fire fighters (God bless each and every one of them) are being able to contain these fires! Praise be to God!!!!
thanks sooo much perez and everyone else! it's hectic but we're staying strong!
Re: crotchrocket –
The paps should be reporting on important things, and not some unfit mother that doesn't want to be a mother..that selfish bitch.
If they spent their time trying to find out who set these fires instead of following some washed up pretend singer..we'd all be in better shape.
Re: Judi – The saddest thing is that many of the shallow people to are replying saying "San Diego burn in hell" have not the slightest idea of what is going on. If you dont like liberal people, fine. But aside from beliefs that you may not agree with these people out here who are now homeless may not be who you think they are. They are someones grandparent, child, or loved one. THey may be someone who volunteered to help with Katrina or donate the little money they had to help with a national disaster. Sure there are also wealthy people, but that doesnt make them bad people and it sure doesnt warrent people to wish ill on them. Stop making this about upper class, lower class, liberal, or conservative and start supporting your fellow Americans for the people they are and not the stereo-types you are familiar with. My prayers are with all those who are affected by this horrible dissaster.
Re: Compassion – Wonderful post! I couldn't agree more!
