I think you can be a proud american and still be intelligent and open minded. Most of the news here is about america or always about our interests and usually the only time we hear about world issues is when they affect us. not when they affect others. it would be great if the nightly news had more stuff from everywhere and offered it in a way that compelled people to watch it. people get lazy here and get into a habit of watching and reading about only the stuff that is easy to absorb and understand. i know this from my own experience. its hard for me to concentrate on reading a long and detailed articles now.
and to Loki and Obsessed, a good actor is himself, i read an article or saw an interview with Michael Cain and he said that people have said that about him and he is awesome. i can't remember exactly what he said but that just because brad might sound the same in each movie is not a bad thing, as long as he is believeable and showing the appropriate emotions. you don't want it to be tacky or over the top. oh and brad in this picture looks like he is channeling john travolta in Pulp Fiction.
