Just the night before her concert in Mexico City, the singer had a rapprochement with her fans … at a distance. "We were told no pictures, no shaking hands, no hugging or kissing" a disappointed fan said.
Even though some fans had been waiting for nearly 27 hours to get an autograph, the singer and her staff were rude to them. Several fans complained about the conditions given by Lavigne's staff, but the treatment wasn't different for the press either. The press and tv crews were supposed to cover the whole event -which would last for about an hour- and Lavigne's staff evicted the press after just a minute of taking pictures.
Nearly 700 fans showed up to the event, and even when some fans showed great enthusiasm for the presence of Lavigne, she seemed distant and showed a forced smile.
We shouldn't be surprised after all, since the "diva" had the same attitude at the MTV Latin Music Awards last Thursday.

"So after the show, my friend and I made it out back behind the venue where the artist usually come out. We were the first people to show up and just wait against the fence. Since it wasn't a tour, there were no busses. Just transportation vans. 45 minutes past before I realized there was a crowd of about 50 people. It was cool. A few minutes later, out comes Avril headed towards the van. We all started screaming, trying to get her attention and it worked! Then she started making her way towards us. She started signing for everybody there. I got her to sign my ticket. She was super nice. This one girl brought her guitar to get signed. Shen she asked Avril if she could sign it, she goes "Sure! That rocks!" She was chill about it. What I thought was cool was her body guard was all, "Hey we gotta go now" She replied with "Uh no wait. Did I sign for everybody?" A couple of girls replied with "No" so she proceeded to sign until she got every single person that was there. It was a cool expirience. I got a change to ask when
