New polls show the funnyman ahead of some presidential hopefuls as Bill Richardson, Dennis Kucinich and Mike Gravel.

I know it's not "cool" to like Bush or defend Bush, but "hating and trashing" the president it's already obsolete, it's getting old. Bush, like Clinton, Carter and previous presidents have make mistakes but also acomplishments. I really doubt that Coulbert can be anything but a great comedian.

His "accomplishments" include letting New Orleans drown, torturing prisoners who are held without charge or trial, illegally invading a sovereign nation, wiretapping private citizens, driving the next three generations into debt, ignoring increasing environmental impacts of climate change … the list goes on and on and on. Bush made it clear he mistakes himself for a King and not a very good one, at that. I'm an American. We don't think much of warmongering despots and so we don't think much of Bush.

Bush has PERSONALLY been enriched by the Federal taxs that have funded the war and military contractors. The Bush family owns stock with The Carlye Group who OWNS several military contractors who have finanically benefited by Bushs RECORD appropriations to military spending.
Bush has made $$$ on the War in Iraq.
Cheney has had his stock options with Halliburton increase in value too. And yes, Cheney will "donate it to charity" but that is basically a tax right off so its that same as money in his pocket.
