He may be running as a joke, but Stephen Colbert has thrown a bit of a monkey wrench into the upcoming election.

New polls show the funnyman ahead of some presidential hopefuls as Bill Richardson, Dennis Kucinich and Mike Gravel.

If we completely disregard the "war", he actually hasn't been a bad President. It's just that this "war" has been something that is so easy for people to focus on. Don't get me started on Hollywood. If Bush were a Democratic president Hollywood would be backing this "war" 100%. The negative is just easier to rally against.
