Carrie Underwood's sophomore CD was released on Tuesday of this week.

Based on first day sales and projections, she is headed for a #1 debut and could sell up to 450,000 in week one, PerezHilton.com has learned.

Wow! Talk about hitting a home run!

By comparison, Kelly Clarkson's latest CD, My December, sold 291,000 copies in its first week and then took a nosedive.

Underwood's radio-friendly disk is expected to "have legs," as they say in the music industry for albums with longevity.

Perez….are you under the impresssion that moving 200,000+ albums in a week is something easy? As much as you trash Kelly Clarkson, I give her a lot of credit for taking some charge of her own career. She actually showed something that pretty much noone in the world of pop music has….INTEGRITY.

This album is gonna be huge. Every song could be a hit single, and I hope they release 6 singles at the very least. If they release enough singles and give the album a few years before releasing her third, I could definitely see this eventually surpassing Some Hearts 6 million sales, which I didn't think would be possible.

That's cool, I love her first cd. But do you have to put down Kelly Clarkson in the process? Remember, Carrie has had NO negative press to speak of surrounding this release, whereas Kelly's release became more about the controversy than the music. A lot of potential buyers were probably scared off by reports that it was waaay darker and rockier than Breakaway, when in fact it's not hugely different. Oh well, I guess if you can't write about her getting arrested for drugs/DUI or being a twat, you have to come up with something. I just find it sad that this couldn't just be Carrie's moment of glory, rather than tainting it with a big; 'Nah nah na na nah!!!' at Kelly.

Criss Angel Is Recorded Threatening To Knock Out His Producer!

The Luxor headlining illusionist was recorded having quite the verbal altercation with Joe Monti, one of his magic producers on Wednesday, during which Angel is heard threatening to knock him out - and now he's had a police report filed against him!

Furthermore, Monti later said to authorities that he recorded the meeting because Angel has a history of bullying employees!

He explains:
