Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Poor Parents?
They may be the sexiest screen stars and the hottest humanitarians, but are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie forgetting that family comes first?
The comely couple and their ever-flourishing family of four kids have sojourned in several different states and cities over the last four months.
Brangelina and their babes have moved to and fro such places as New York, New Orleans, Los Angeles, Chicago and Prague on top of reports they are searching for Spanish stomping grounds.
But while Angie and Brad may be giving their guys and girls a global education, some say it may be doing more harm than good.
"It would appear that they are attempting to have the children fit into their lifestyle as opposed to them amending their lifestyle to meet the needs of their children," said marriage and family therapist Sloane Veshinski.
"Young children need structure and a routine; however, the constant movement can cause an inability to form attachment bonds to those around them, form relationships with other children and establish a peer group," Veshinski said.
"The lack of consistency in routine, languages spoken and the overall changes of environment may cause them to lack a level of trust and comfort in their environment if that environment continues to change.
"The children may have difficulties in forming relationships with their peers, other than their siblings. They may, in the future, be diagnosed with issues such as attachment disorders or ADHD as their world is moving faster than they are able to process."
And while the movie-star mom and dad certainly seem to have "Mighty Hearts," it appears they could benefit from some parental education a la Britney Spears.
"They are parents who are unaware of the developmental needs of their children," Veshinski added. "Brad and Angelina need education about what is needed for their children to develop appropriately from a developmental and psychological perspective."
However, Pop Tarts has been told that it isn't just the juniors who are suffering from the leaping lifestyle. Apparently, all the unsettlement is causing ruptures in the romance between the "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" sensations.
"Brad really wants to stay put in one place permanently and focus on building their family and the charities they are engaged in," our inside source said. "But Angelina's train of thought is much different. Her career is on fire at the moment, and she wants to travel and thinks the kids will be much better off seeing so much of the world.
"The differing views on top of the pressures of being as famous as they are is definitely putting a huge strain on their relationship."
And it seems that their sensational status already is affecting their eldest son's ability to be professionally educated, as Angie apparently was forced to withdraw Maddox from his swanky French school in the Big Apple due to the "big disruptions" the couple continuously caused.
"Parents were going crazy, the paparazzi were everywhere every time either Pitt or Jolie went to collect Maddox," an eyewitness said. "It was madness. I can't see any solution other than home-schooling their children."

First time I've ever commented anything on the net: As a parent of two (3 and 5 years old) I can only agree with the statement from the family therapist. I have ALWAYS wondered how these peple are allowed to do this to their childern. How can you get to adopt if you don't live in a "stable" home where the child can form normal social relationships?
i feel for those kids of their's. it is true, those children have no roots, no stability–no place to call home. it is due to jolie's extravagant vagabound ways. she is not a wife nor mother material.
military kids have much more stability than jole's children…AT LEAST MILITARTY FAMILIES ARE MARRIED AND DO HAVE A HOUSE TO CALL HOME…jolie loves the gypsy life–constantly going from hotel to hotel every month–those poor kids. how many mileage flights have they put in??? millions of miles going here and there–i've never seen anything like it. what is she running from??? my guess is responsibility and mothering. all brad is doing is being a nany for her while he dishes out the money for all her extravagant lodging.

DUH! It's about time SOMEONE printed it! Of course they are worse than Army Brats! He doesn't stay in a school longer than 6 -8 weeks, how CAN they make and keep friends? They are living out of hotels or rented places 90% of the year and never stay put - those children need structure and roots - all children do! It will get harder as they get older to want to leave their friends!

I disagree, I grew up travelling much of the world living on three continents (it was also because my parents are immigrants from different countries) and I think it helped, yeah I changed schools made and lost friends. I don;t think that I was placed first when these events were happening but it was great and I did like it and learn a lot. It was also great because I became more independant and cultured and I never had anything like add or adhd. Also i came back into contact with many of the friends i lost when switching schools and when you have siblings it works easier because you have a family unit which is always with you. however when maddox hits 10 years maybe settling down would help a little more. Also the family is rich enough that they go back and regain contact with the friends in other cities. Its not like the children are refuggees and never have the chance of returning to where they are from also it prevents children from taking relationships for granted and appreciate the true friends that they encounter.

The Jolie-Pitt children are not the only children who have travelled the globe during their formative years. It is true that all children need stability - which they get by consistantly remaining in the presence of their parents. A family is not stable just because they live in one house for many years, but through constant love, support, encouragement and self-esteem.

I think that breast implants were invented for prostitutes. Surely a good mother would not be anorexic with breast implants for naive men to ogle. Not only that, why would a good mother try to hide her golden tan skin with white make-up, especially on the face and neck? I guess when she appears in the tabloids, most people don't see past her neck. Is Angelina trying to hide something from Brad and the kids? Is this why she is always travelling around the world? How could people have been tricked into thinking she is white, when she isn't? Isn't that demeaning to people of all skins, that she thinks she can choose which race or skin colour to be with make-up and plastic surgery? Has anybody tried to sit and dream and be inspired, then fulfill a long-term project while having no true home to stay at, and no support from friends that you know will always be there for you?
Aren't the kids usually with the schools or nannies while Angelina and Brad get botox and plastic surgery maintenance, then star in movies. Every moment that they actually are with the kids, they must be recorded by paparazzi. Maybe they even paid the tabloids to make the stories they want us to see.
I never wish to hear about Angelina and Brad and the kids again. Somebody needs to please do something. God, could you please answer this prayer? Thank you.

They seem to be great, hands-on parents who are doing the best they can. If you wanna rip on anyone for being bad parents, go do a fucking research and you'll come up with a ton of articles etc. My advice is for your own good. The difference is. military families are in a place for at least 3 years minimum. Whereas the Pitt-Jolie clan moves every few weeks or months.
Finally, someone who says what many are thinking. As a developmental therapist who works with children with attachment disorders, I would not be surprised if these children were identified with emotional disorders at a young age. The lack of stability in physical environment is a serious issue. Mandatory child development classes should be a prerequisite for adopting parents, even the rich and famous.

The adoption agencies should set a mandatory time period (e.g. 6 months) where new parents need to stay on their ass IN ONE PLACE!!! I travel a lot (my parents are diplomats) and I always miss something or someone. It's sad…. As for Jolie and pitt they make me sick. They weren't together long enough to have MADE 4 kids!!!! Why isn't someone making Maddox go to school? I took my son on a vacation for 4 days and I got a letter in the mail from the DA saying I was one un excused absence from a court appearance. Hopefully they are actually home schooling him and not just saying they are so it is more convinient or them and their busy schedules. I am sure they love their kids and want what is best for them but when will they decide to put the kids before EVERYTHING else?
BTW- My husband was in the Army and we never moved as often as these two! At least my kids had a home at all times with a room that was truly theirs and not some rented hotel room. Moving every couple of years vs. every month is a totally different story. Of course these kids will never have a life like avg children but there are certain things that kids need…. and seeing the world before they start preschool is not one of them.

Angelina thinks by staging her kids for photographs all the time for the world to see how a good mother she is, is good parenting. She is a media whore who loves publicity and she is doing this for herself not for the kids.
Military brats are always in one place for years not for 2 weeks. I think these kids should be taken away from them, they are too busy looking for money and have no time to settle so that the children can have stability. While i don't necessarlly agree that either are healthy…the difference is that with the military, unless the active duty member is single, there is another parent maintaining the routine. The family may move every 2-3 years, but they still have the same social structure (schools and "military way") regardless of duty station. They can at least have friends who can relate to their lifestyle…who do these kids have to relate to? And if a parent is deployed they don't more the entire family for 6 months plus to timbuktu. Oh yeah, and they don't have to deal with the cameras 24/7.

I think that it will cause a big problem to these children, specially because they are adopted, (except shiloh) they will grow up very confused and will have a hard time finding themselves as grownups and in social environments, if there parents dont act intelligently now. These kids , especially these ones that had such horrible backgrounds deserve stability, love, security, and freedom, and i dont think this lifestyle will help them with that, they can have all the toys in the world but its not the same thing. Also, i personally dont trust Angelina, she is not a stable woman, she acts with her impulses and whims not with her head, YES I KNOW SHE CARES ABOUT AFRICA, BUT IF I HAD THE MONEY SHE HAS OR ANYONE ELSE, IT SHOULD BE NATURAL TO WANT TO HELP AND STOP BEING SO SELFISH! but she has a double personality, yes for many people she could be the ambassador of goodwill, but she is still a homewrecker, and Brad Pitt is still an adulterous man no matter how many kids he adopts.
