   as someone who just went to oahu, i see how they all get pulled over- the cops there are ridiiiiiculous, and the only thing more so is the way people drive! if the speed limit is 50, people hardly go over 40. it's unbelievably frustrating for an east coaster to drive there!! the highway patrol are incredibly sneaky, they're out with radars on their motorcycles constantly. they probably think anyone who's driving within 5mph of the speed limit is drunk, unless the bed of their pickup truck is overflowing with people, which is oddly totally legal.

    I live in Hawaii and believe me dui's here are a serious problem. Not only tourists but locals alike. It seems no matter where you go on the big island there are crosses and shrines about every mile on the highway. It sucks but keep them off the road. Mahalo

    he is actually the forth Lost member. You are forgeting a year ago, Adewale Akinnuoye Agbaje, the actor who played "Mr. Eko," was arrested for a traffic violation and accused of disobeying a police officer and driving without a license. The charges were dropped, but his character also was killed off.

    There may be something to that, Perez. I saw a whole show on the "Poltergise" curse and how all the actors who were in the first film have died mysterious deaths. It's creepy. At least the Lost curse is just drunk driving. It could be a lot worse.

    I believe that Hawaii is "cracking down" on the DUI folk - at least on the island of Hawaii (Big Island) but I don't know about Oahu (Honolulu) where dude was booked.
