David Beckham's first season with the LA Galaxy just ended, way below expectations.
Now, the frustrated soccer stud is taking to his blog:

Hello everyone,
Hope you are all well?
I’ve continued to step up my match fitness over the past week and managed to come off the bench and play a part against Red Bull New York and Chicago Fire. It was a great feeling to be part of the action again.
Unfortunately, results went against us and we just missed out on a play off spot. The team had played so well over the past six or seven games, so I’m incredibly disappointed for them, but we’ll come back stronger next season I’m sure.
I’d like to wish Cobi Jones a happy retirement from playing. He’s been at the Galaxy since the club was formed and has definitely been one of its, and the MLS’s, greatest players. So, best of luck to him for the future.

From the way he writes this he does not feel part of that team at all, he talks like an outsider looking in on it. I have seen him with them, it was sad actually he was on the bench in his suit sitting two people away from his team, its a weird isolation thing like he is not fitting in or they are not accepting him. I wish people would stop slamming him, they signed him his last season in Madrid where he had serious injuries to both knees and was unfit to play most of the season. He is only a man, it is what it is, if you sign someone with on-going injuries don't be shocked if he sits a lot on the bench, its not his fault, his knees are shot.

He's disappointed for THEM because he wasn't able to be a part of the team the last two months.
The team isn't a chronic losing team, they actually had a lot of bad luck where injuries were concerned but when they got everyone back they didn't lose a game for a month, thus putting them in the position to get into the playoffs with a last day win.
