If democrats are so generous to gays, how come nothing was done when clinton was president? You blame political parties for this when it is a human issue, not a political one. The gay rights movement will die out because eventually science will determine the genetic defect which causes people to be gay and give parents medical options during pregnancy. I don't think we'll have too many more generations of people who are born gay. There will be a way to prevent having a gay child. Not that I have anything against gay people, but if you had that choice to make for your child wouldn't you pick straight? I can't imagine any parent putting that burden on their child if they had the chance to prevent it.
